SOR shall be read in conjunction with Project drawings, scope of work, specifications, standards and other provisions of contract document. Continuous Concrete Coating Supply of all consumables and materials, equipments, manpower, submission of application procedure with calculations for anti-buoyancy, design mix procedure qualification and application of continuous concrete weight coating thickness mentioned below (higher also, in case design requirements) on pipeline of all thickness, concrete weight coating of the field joints thereof, and performing all works as per specifications and instructions of Owner/Owner’s representative and other provisions of CONTRACT DOCUMENT.

GEO TEXTILE BAGS FOR ANTI-BUOYANCY

Repair of Defects in Pipe Coating (Attributable to OWNER)
Repair of Line Pipe Coating: Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of OWNER.

Repair of Cosmetic Defects in Coating: Description of same as in item no 23 above, but for repair of cosmetic defects in coating.

All works for locating burst (occurred during hydrostatic testing and tightness test attributable to Owner issued materials) including detecting burst, necessary repairing/replacing defective pipe lengths, including cutting out and removing the defective pipe, pretesting the replacement pipe, welding of replacement pipe into mainline and NDT of welding, repair and re-testing of defective welds, coating of welded joints, cleanup, retesting including providing all labor, materials, consumables and inputs other than OWNER supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and directions of Owner/ Owner’s representative. In case of pinhole leaks not easily detectable all works for locating leak (occurred during mechanical resistance test and tightness test attributable to Owner issued materials) including detecting leak, The Payment will be made as per actual efforts and based on Equipment and manpower Rate provided in SCC . Further replacement & retesting will be paid as above.
LEAKS/ BURSTS (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER) (FOR TERMINAL PIPING) LEAKS/ BURSTS (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER DUE TO FIM) All works for leak/burst (occurring during hydrostatic testing) by necessary repair/replacement of defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, welding, NDT of welds, repair and re-testing of defective welds, painting of welded joints, clean-up, re hydro testing of the pipe segment including providing all necessary equipment, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, scope of work, specifications, standards enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. This rate shall be applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied materials only.
IDLE TIME PRESERVATION OF PIPELINE Preservation of complete pipeline and associated facilities and its maintenance including supply of all consumables, all equipment, man- power, etc., complete as per the requirements of specifications, scope of work, standards, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge. By filling and pressurizing with nitrogen including supply and maintenance of nitrogen as per following details:

PRE-COMMISSIONING FOR NATURAL GAS PIPELINES SYSTEM, Carrying out pre-commissioning activities and pre-commissioning checks to the specified acceptance criteria, making the entire pipeline system ready for commissioning (It includes cleaning including magnetic cleaning, Electrical Geometrical Pigging survey, dewatering, swabbing,, pre-drying activity, Golden-tie ins connecting the stations),, supply of all equipment, man-power, consumables, including all type of pigs and required quantity of nitrogen, materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, Drawings, scope of work, PTS- Construction of Natural Gas Pipelines, GTS, standards, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Commissioning Assistance
OVERALL COMMISSIONING OF ENTIRE PIPELINE SYSTEM Overall commissioning including system checks, inertisation (as required) and charging of entire pipeline system, including all stations and all associated facilities including notifying the Company that the pipeline system is ready for commissioning; Review of status jointly with the Company and obtaining final clearance for start of commissioning; Development and submission of commissioning procedures, obtaining Company approval thereupon, carrying out overall commissioning of the total pipeline system including all facilities and all necessary coordination/ liaison with other Contractor(s) operations; Carrying out commissioning; Supply of all equipment like Nitrogen vapourisers (as required), along with all piping and instruments, temporary venting/ flaring/draining facilities as applicable, man-power, consumables including pigs and required quantity of Nitrogen (as required); Performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, Drawings, scope of work, PTS- Construction of Natural Gas Pipelines, GTS, standards, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.

ROU MANAGEMENT FOR MAINLINE WORKS
ROU management of entire pipeline route , during preconstruction survey, opening of ROU and maintenance of ROU upto completion of entire Mainline works (including CP and Telecom works); all type of liasoning/coordination with local people/villagers, farmers, land owners or any other person/ institution etc. directly or indirectly linked with the pipeline/affected by the pipeline laying activities for ensuring hindrance-free construction works at site; obtaining NOC from respective land owner(s), farmers etc. as and when required; Liasoning/Coordination and obtaining work permits, NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction for execution of the crossings and complying with all stipulations/ conditions/ recommendations of the said authorities. Notes: 1. Statutory fees/ Payment as per govt. guidelines to farmers etc against ROU opening shall be paid by the owner. 2. Payment shall be made as below- a) 40% after completion of welding b) 50% after completion of lowering & back-filling c)10% after obtaining NOC (after restoration) from respective land owner / farmers and statutory authorities as required
PIPELINE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Providing pipeline information management system using web based software for monitoring pipeline construction progress and providing all "As Built" data & drawings for entire length of pipeline as per specifications enclosed with the tender document.
VIDEO FILM & PHOTOGRAPHY OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES Preparation of high resolution video films with audio commentary and Industrial photography covering all aspects/activities of pipeline construction annotated as required, conversion of same to video DVD/Blue Ray format, submitting three (3) sets of the same as per details in scope of work document
FABRICATION OF LR BENDS :
Fabrication of 6D bend / LR (Induction) bends as per the relevant standard & Specification attached with the tender document from free issue linepipes (mother pipe) including but not limited to the following: "Receiving and taking over of free issue linepipes" from GAIL Dump Yard location as mentioned in Scope of Work, carrying out inspection of line pipe at the time of receive taking over in the presence of Company representative, carrying out repair of pipe defects attributable to Contractor after taking over, including supply of consumables & equipments; handling, hauling, transportation and loading/unloading required to transport the mother pipes between place of issue, LR bend fabricator/ manufacturer, intermediate storage as required, and final delivery of fabricated LR Bends to the worksite(s), as per requirement, Manufacturing/ fabricating of LR Bends, as per project requirements and Specifications. LR bends exact angle(s) shall be as per pipeline alignment. Note:- 1. Rate for repairing of defects in linepipes identified and recorded at the time of receiving & taking over i.e. defects attributable to Company shall be quoted separately in the applicable items of the SOR. 2.Loading of Pipe into installation contractor trailer shall be carried out by the GAIL Dumpyard maintenance agency already engaged by the Company.

Contractor Storage Yard to worksite, Arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction; construction design calculation and engineering of the crossing , mobilization and demobilization at site(s), supply of all materials as per "Scope of Supply" and all consumables, equipment, manpower and other resources, and acquiring the required land for site preparations, and execution in all types of soil including hard and soft rocks, gravels and boulders of, but not limited to, the following works in accordance with specifications, drawings, and as per provisions of the Contract document and instructions of the Company/ Engineer-in- Charge: Installation of CS conduit (6 Inch CS Conduit shall be installed through Seperate Drilling), horizontal directional drilling to the correct profile as per approved drawings and specification, Post-installation hydrotest including leaks and repair of defects and retesting, etc. for defects attributed to Contractor's faulty work, Supply, fabrication and construction of protective fencing as required, Hydrotesting, Supply, fabrication and erection of pipeline markers, Restoration and clean-up etc., Preparation of as-built drawings and other records etc., All other works not specifically listed herein, but required as per specifications, drawings, provision of contract document, calculations, and construction method statements, leading to successful completion of works. Note: Below survey/engineering are already available with GAIL, no-need to perform below tasks/activities again- 1. Topographic / Bathymetry, Geotech Investigation and Hydrological data collection. 2. Construction design calculation and engineering of the crossing 3. All surveys required for collecting data relevant to design and construction of the crossing, preparation of all necessary construction drawings for Company's approval as per the provisions of the Contractor document, Preparation of detailed construction method statement and calculations including Scour Depth calculations for river/ canal crossings, Strings preparation including welding, 100% Radiography of welds, NDT of welds and re-beveled areas, radiography, weld repair and re-test, pre-testing of completed string, corrosion coating of field joints with Dirax or equivalent, inspection of corrosion coating and repair of defects, Preconstruction surveys and collection of all necessary data.
CS Conduit details: (Pipe 6" dia, 6.4mm Thick, API 5L GR.B) Note: 1. CS Conduit shall be supplied by the Contractor. Radiography & Hydrostatic testing is not required to be done for CS Conduit. (6 Inch CS Conduit shall be installed through Seperate Drilling) Contractor shall quote accordingly. 2. The rate shall be applicable for the drilled length of the HDDs. 3. 8" Carrier pipe is already laid by HDD Method. Bidder to consider Coating Integrity Test ( CIT) and post Hydrotesting of 8" carrier pipe in cost of this line item along with mobilization of all equipments and manpower required for post hydrotesting. This cost is not to be separately quoted but included in the cost of this line item without any extra cost to the owner. All above works shall be executed in accordance with scope of work, GTS,PTS, Drawings and other provisions of contract document and instructions of Owner/Owner's representative, including but not limited to carrying out the above works. This line item is applicable for HDD crossing mentioned in the Crossing List with prior approval of Engineer -In-Charge during Construction.

TRANSPORTATION OF COATED AND BARE LINEPIPES FROM GAIL DUMPYARDS (ANY LOCATIONIN INDIA) TO CONTRACTOR STORAGE YARD:
"Receiving and taking over" of "free issue" Linepipes from GAIL Dump Yard location ( any location in India); Carrying out inspection of Linepipes at the time of receiving and taking-over, recording of pipe & coating defects at the time of taking over in the presence of Company's representative, carrying out repair of coating defects & pipe defects attributable to Company; including supply of materials, consumables & equipments; handling, hauling and transportation from designated place of issue to Contractor Storage Yard; unloading and stacking of the linepipes at Contractor Storage Yard; including arranging all equipments, trailers, trucks & manpower; all works as per Scope of Work, drawings, PTS, GTS and other provisions of the Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge; all associated works not indicated herein but required to complete the work as per Scope of Work, Provision of Contract & instructions of Engineer InCharge.
Linepipe Details:- Coated and Bare Line Pipe 8" diameter API 5L Gr. X-60 PSL-2 Wall Thickness - 6,4mm / 7.1mm External Coating - 3LPE, Internal Coating - Liquid Epoxy 1) Loading of Pipes into Installation contractor's trailer shall be carried out by the contractor. 2) Development & Maintenance of Contractor Storage Yard adequate to store the linepipes including arrangement of all Lifting & Handling equipment at Contractor's Storage Yard shall be done by the Contractor. Rate for the same shall be quoted in applicable items. 3) Rate for repairing of coating defects in linepipes identified and recorded at the time of receiving & taking over i.e. coating-defects attributable to Company shall be included in this item. 4) Rate for repairing of pipe-defects identified and recorded at the time of receiving & taking over i.e. pipe-defects attributable to Company shall be quoted separately in the applicable items of the SOR. 5) Transportation of line pipe from Contractor's Storage Yard to work site is included in SOR item 1 above, No separate payment will be applicable for the same.
TRANSPORTATION OF FREE ISSUE PIPING ITEMS (OTHER THAN LINE PIPE) FROM GAIL STORAGE YARDS (ANY LOCATION IN INDIA) TO CONTRACTORS YARD / WORKSITE(S) : "Receiving and taking-over", handling, lifting, loading, transportation and unloading of Company supplied "free-issue materials" (Other than line pipe) viz. Metering Filtering and PRS Skid, Scrapper Launcher/ Receiver & accessories, Valves with or without Actuators, Insulation Joints, Flow Tee, Pig Signallers, fittings, flanges etc. from GAIL Storage yards location ( any location in India) to Contractor's Storage Yard / work-site(s). Note:- 1) Location of GAIL Storage Yard shall be anywhere in India. Contractor shall quote accordingly. 2) Transportation of FIM from Contractor's Storage Yard to work site, is included in SOR item 119 below, No separate payment will be applicable for the same.
DEVELOPMENT OF CONTRACTOR STORAGE YARD:
Development of the Contractor Storage Yard including fencing, illumination etc., including deployment of all lifting and handling equipments, manpower required to stack, unload and load all Free Issue Material (FIM) including Line Pipes and all bought out items, as required; storage of all Free Issue Material and bought out items for the required duration as per project requirement, all works as per Scope of Work, drawings, other provisions of the Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge; all associated works not indicated herein but required to complete the work as per Scope of Work, PTS, GTS and Provision of Contract & instructions of Engineer In-Charge. The storage yard shall be used for storage of all Free Issue Line pipes, all other Free Issure Material (FIM) and all bought out items required for the project. Notes:- 1) Development of contractor storage yard adequate to store all the material required for Project, including all Free Issue Material (FIM) and bought out items. (Rate for the same shall be captured in this item) 2) Maintenance of contractor storage yard for the entire project period is included in the scope of contractor. No separate payment shall be applicable for the same.

Civil/ structural works for piping supports will be paid separately as per unit rate provided elsewhere in the contract. Cost of Transportation of all materials (Including FIM mentioned above) for station works, from GAIL Provided storage location i.e. ONGC GCS premises at Parbatpur & SV-28 to Work site, to be included in this SOR item. Sand Filling
Supplying and filling approved SAND of specified quality under floors, in foundations, plinths, tank foundations etc. for all depths and heights including cost of sand,royalties,transportation to site for all leads and lifts, including loading, unloading, spreading in layers of loose thickness not exceeding 150 mm,watering,ramming,compacting with mechanical compactors and/or other equipment to the specified levels to achieve 85% relative density as per IS:2720 Part XIV,including preparation of subgrade to the required slope, providing testing apparatus and testing the degree of consolidation all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The rates shall be inclusive of the cost of all labour,material,equipments etc. all complete .
SAND GRAVEL MIX
Supplying and filling sand gravel mix (1:1) with approved aggregate below road, RCC pavement, manholes, pits, foundations, bedding of UG piping etc. in layers of 150 mm loose thickness (maximum) including watering, ramming, rolling, compacting to achieve 85% relative density as per IS 2720 Part-XIV, quarrying, royalties, transportation, handling, etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in- Charge. (The rate shall be inclusive of the cost of all labour, material, equipment etc. all complete)
GROUTING WITH NON-SHRINKABLE COMPOUND
Providing and laying manually or by pumping at all positions a ready mix non-shrink cementitious grout of compressive strength specified below for specified works e.g. pipe support, base grouting of rotating equipment and other installation complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings , technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, leve and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Providing and fixing factory made precast RCC perforated drain covers, having concrete of strength not less than M-25, of size 1000x450x50 mm, reinforced with 8 mm dia four nos longitudinal & 9 nos. cross sectional T.M.T. hoop bars, including providing 50 mm dia perforations @ 100 to 125 mm c/c, including providing edge binding with M.S. flats of size 50 mm x 1.6 mm complete, all as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.
Borewell and recharge well
Boring/drilling bore well of required dia for casing/ strainer pipe, by suitable method prescribed in IS: 2800 (part I), including collecting samples from different strata, preparing and submitting strata chart/ bore log, including hire & running charges of all equipments, tools, plants & machineries required for the job all complete as per drawing, direction of Engineer -in-charge, in all types of soil :

CATHODIC PROTECTION SYSTEM
Cathodic Protectin system
Design, Detailed Engineering, Survey, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning & Monitoring of the temporary cathodic protection [TCP] system using galvanic anodes to protect the external surface of the pipeline against soil-side corrosion for minimum 2 year or till commissioning of permanent CP system whichever is later . All work shall be carried out conforming to the Scope of work, Design Basis, Data Sheets, specification, standard drawings and vendor list as attached with this tender and provisions of GCC, SCC including Technical specifications, including supply of all materials, equipment, consumables, start up/commissioning spares etc. including transportation, storage of materials at site, manpower, in line with direction of Engineer In-charge.
Design, Detailed Engineering, Survey, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of permanent cathodic protection system for 40 years. The scope of work also includes post commssoning surveys and repair of coating/ rectification of cathodic protection system based on the post commissioning surveys. Miscelleneous Works in Manday (1 Person @ 8 Hours/Day = 1 ManDay in a stretch) for completion of balance works including all required tools & tackles whenever required for executing Electrical/mechanical/Civil Works, excavation in pipeline RoU, RoU patch backfilling, plastering the earthing chamber, excavation of earth pit, filling with charcoal and salt, back filling, providing necessary brickwork, connections, ferruling, cable tagging, etc. including all labour and materials, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Manpower Items will only be initiated when permitted from TEPL/GAIL. TEPL/GAIL will intimate the nature of work and the contractor's responsibility is to certify the timesheet on daily basis after completion of manday indicating the nature of work done in timesheet duly signed by both TEPL and GAIL. The work which to be complete in one go and cannot be resume on other working day or working after long gap as well as work discontinue after 1 to 2 hours will not be taken into account of manday and also no payment will be done for pro-rata basis.

Rate of Extended Stay compensation per month beyond the time period and grace period mentioned in the Bidding document for reasons solely attributable to Owner ( excluding GST) Notes:- 1;- Extended Stay Compensation shall be loaded on the quoted price as per evaluation methodology. 2;- In case, no rate for extended stay compensation is stipulated, it will be considered that extended stay compensation is not required by the Bidder and the rates quoted by them shall be valid till completion of works in all respects.
