Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precaution against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and protect stability of hill side, track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural road and clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 (One thousand six hundred three point one & One thousand six hundred three point two) to achieve designed formation width including and stacking of material useful for constrction at suitable sites and safe disposal & dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut material in specified manner, timmimg, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in -Charge for smooth riding. The recovery of the stones whether useful or not, for 545.31 cum (Five hundred forty five point thirty one) cum. ln any case failing which recovery @170/- per cum shall be effected on pro-data basis.Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to duly compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in hilly area by mannual means including cutting and trimming ofand disposing of excavated earth a lift upto 1.5 mtr and a lead of 20mtrsas per technical specifactionb clause 1603.1 including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

Earth work in excavation for structure as per drawing and technical specification clause 305.1including setting out, costruction of shoring and bracing,removoval of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 metres dressing of sides and bottam and back filling trenches with excavated suitable material including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:6:12 (One cement is to six sand is to twelve graded hard crushed stone aggregate nominal mix) mechanically mixed and vibrated in foudation or similar works complete works complete as per drawings and technical specification of ministery of rural Development for rural road August 2004(Two thousand four) clause 802-803, 1202 and 1203 (eight hundred two, Eight hundred three , One thousand two hundred two and one thousnad two hundred three)as per drawings andtechnical specification of ministery or rural development for rural road and curing complete including cost of form work and hauling/ carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire specifications as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and specification clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 PCC 1:4:8 40mm including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 PCC.Grade-M-10(ten) nominal mix including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 as per design in single row,culverts on first class bedding of granular material in signle row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:3 but excluding excavation protection works back filling concrete andasonry works in head walls and parapets clause 1106 RCC pipe NP2 900mm dia as per design.

Backfilling behind abutment ,wing wall and return wall complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 with granular material including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charges.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonery plain/reinforced concrete abutment wing wall ruturn wall with 100mm dia PVC pipe extending throught the full width of the structure with slopes of i(V):20(H) towards as per drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 614,709,1204.3.7 .including all leads,lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charges
