REPAIR/ RESURFACING TO CERTAIN ROADS IN OTM ACCNS OF POCKET A AREA OF B/R 1 SUB DIV UNDER VARIOUS UNITS AREA AND MD ACCN AREA ON EAST SIDE OF LEHL MARG OF B/R 1 SUB DIVISION UNDER GE SOUTH BINNAGURI

M&L for repairs to potholes of any depth not exceeding 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust & mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc, cutting around edge to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with cationic emulsion @5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm deep including removing stacking and deposing off, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or Basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparing un-surfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a prime coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (SS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.70 - 1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in table 500-3 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013 using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix of any penetration compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.20 - 0.30 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye after cleaning of existing surface by air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clauses of SSR Part-I (2009) and, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note : (a) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi sense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quoted his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 50.00 per kilogram of binder but variation in binder plus side shall not be paid extra contractor shall quote accordingly.

M&L for 2.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters , zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like with thermoplastic road marking paint @ 5 kg/Sqm and applying glass beads @ 300 gms/Sqm over painted surfaces while the painted surfaces are hot by mechanical means including cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note. The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicatior).

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Stone slabs and tiles laid bedded and pointed in cement mortar of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 60mm thick machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size with grey cement and pigment confirming to IS 15658-2008 (M-35 grade) laying over and including 50mm thick sand filling complete all as specified and directed.

,-ditto- all as per item no. 12 above but except paver block with GSB and lightwearing surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3, including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage, excavation, opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint (using AIR-LESS PAINT SPRAYER) having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over wall surfaces by using AIR-LESS PAINT PRIMER SPRAYER using smart technique including preparation/levelling of new surface of wall using manual sand papers(where reqd) of approved grade complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old plaster surefacesand applying one coat of exterior grade weather coat paint using smart painting technique complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat's eye solar reflective pavement markers of size 100mm x 90mm x 18mm of poly carbonate lens working exclusively on micro prismatic lens type technology to be fixed with epoxy resin adhesive after cleaning of surfaces including taking down old unserviceable cat's eye complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Make:- 3M/ Dark Eye/ Oscar Safety Solution or equivalent)

Supply and fixing in repairs of solar stud aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design accordingto 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm ) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 Watts one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000mcd complete all as per manufactures instructions and complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (1)(Make:- Dark Eye model No. DA 975 or equivalent model of make 3M/ Oscar Safety Solution ) (2)The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
