MANNIG AND OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AT P-5 , TRS-I AND TRS-II SUB STATION UNDER AGE E/M NO.II OF GE (U-I) VISAKHAPATNAM

Outsourcing of services for operation and maintenance of 11 KV sub station at P-5 Building including attending HT & LT fuse off calls of CNAI and NAD area, out door transformers as mentioned below including back up protection for smooth and trouble free operation of sub-station round the clock in three shifts per day and attending the street light complaints including sundays and holidays complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Manpower : One skilled electrician and One semi skilled electrician in each shift of 08 Hrs duration each. Timings: Ist shift :- 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs IInd Shift :- 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs. IIIrd Shift :- 2200 Hrs to 0600 Hrs

NOTE : The rate shall also include the following: (i) Cost of minor consumables such as RYB indication lamps, PG clamps, PVC insulation tape, screws, washers, nails, teflon tape, fuse wire, clips, bolts, nuts etc for day to day maintenance and repairs. (iii) Complaint register, log books, Job cards, safety shoes, helmet and transportation. (iv) Taking care of house keeping environmental cleanliness, cutting grass, small plants etc., and surrounding area of installation all round up to 10 meters shall be keep absolutely neat and clean. (v) One emergency light and necessary tools should be available in a tool box with operator for smooth functioning.

(vi) Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit the list of manpower to be employed as per requiste qualifications specified in particular specification for approval of GE duly recomended by Engineer-in- charge. (vii) The equipments and duties mentioned below. (a) Checking of operations of HT VCBs - 07 Nos (b) Checking of out door transformer 400 KVA- 2 Nos at P-5 Sub- station. (c) AB Switches with two/Four pole structures etc. (d) Battery bank with charger for switch gears (e) Checking of LT Panels with LT Capacitor panels at sub staions. (f) Operation of 320 KVA diesel engine driven generating set complete including recording of Hour runs and other parameters all as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Outsourcing of services for operation and maintenance of 11 KV sub station at TRS-I & TRS-II Building including HT & LT Old MOV, NAD Colony area, ABE Park and INS Dega, indoor transformers as mentioned below including back up protection for smooth and trouble free operation of sub-station round the clock in three shifts per day and attending the street light complaints complete including sundays and holidays and noting the complaints in complaint cell, prepare the job card and resolve the complaint within 24 hours complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(d) Operation of 200 KVA diesel engine driven generating set complete including recording of Hour runs and other parameters all as directed by Engineer-in- charge

Notes for Item No 1 & 2 :- (i) The operator shall ensure by trail run and be alert to run the DG Set with in 1 minute of supply failure. (ii) (a) HSD oil required for running DG Set will be issued under Schedule ‘B’ free for filling which will be made available at site by Department. (b) It is the contractor’s responsibility to maintain the minimum reserve of oil in tank at any time and as directed by EIC. (c) Necessary Men power required to load the HSD oil at Store yard and to unload the HSD Oil at site shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted shall include for the same. (iii) Contractor shall ensure that minimum one person at P-5 and one person at TRS-I & TRS-II shall be present at the time of attending breakdown/ complaint. (iv) One person from P-5 & TRS-I/ TRS-II shall be utilised whenever required for attending the complaint. Any extra manpower/ electrician required shall also be deployed by the contractor for resolving complaint. (v) Man power shall be utilized as per the direction of concerned JE/ Engineer-in-charge for attending breakdowns. (vi) Filling of acid and distilled water whenever required for smooth running of Gen set is to be done by the contractor and the quoted rate is deemed to be included for the provision also.Minor spare like fuses, jumpers, insulation taping, applying petroleum jelly are deemed to be included in quoted rate .
