REPAIR TO HRAD STANDING, NON LOAD BEARING SURFACE ALONG AIRFIELD AREA AND REMARKING OF RUNWAY,TAXI TRACK,LOOP,DISPERSAL AND LINKS AT AF STN JODHPUR

Material & labour for raking out sealing compound from existing expansion joints of dimension 25 mm to 30 mm wide and 45 mm deep, removing the debris from site by sweeping the concrete surface with brooms, cleaning with compressed air, treating sides and bottom of the joints with primer as per manufacturer's directions and filled with preformed closed cell polyethylene backup rod/strip of 25-32 mm dia, sealing with pitch free polyurethane grey sealant (minimum depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 10 mm) conforming to BS-5212 (Type FB) and applying masking tape on edges of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Ditto all as per item No 1 above but construction/dummy joints of dimension 16 to 24 mm wide and 40 mm deep and backup rod/strip of 16-25 mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing the demolished material or debries out side MoD land complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B2 (using 20 mm graded aggragate) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Material & labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-40 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory co mpaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Material & labour for preparation of old concrete/bitumen surfaces on rigid / flexible portion of Runway/Taxi track by brushing, washing, rubbing by gunny bags over 10cm width or girth of any description and applying one coat of Ist quality exterior weather proof water base emulsion on lines, dashes arrows, letters etc any tint paint complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

All as per item No 08 above but n exc 10 cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Material and Labour cutting existing loose patches / spalled edges of concrete pavement in square / rectangular/ triangular shape to a depth not less than 25mm removing debris out side MD land sweeping the patches with broom, cleaning with compressed air and applying epoxy resin mortar (proportion as specified) incl necessary form work for sides of joints, sprinkle , a thin layer of dust free fine sand (QUARTS SAND 10 No) and applying a coat on top of surface with epoxy resin primer @ 0.45 Kg/Sqm and finally filling the joints with sealing compound complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge. (Sealing of joint shall be measured under respective item separately).

Material & labour for repair to potholes/patches on runway operating surface up to 100mm deep including cutting of existing flexible concrete surface in vertical to making the potholes in square/rectangle shape & size. Remove debris outside MD land and cleaning the dust with air blower, the cleaned and dry surface making good by applying cold emulsion and filled with instant road repairing bituminous premix in hot condition including well rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient including necessary arrangement for working in night conditions and all required T&Ps complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Material & labour for clearing/cutting bushes, scrubs, grass, vegitation from side/berms/shoulders of Runway/PTT/Taxi/Dispersal and adjoining area by manual / mechanical means (by using jungle jim or petrol grass cutter machine in adequate numbers) as per site requirment including transport for removing all the debries out side MoD land complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs taxiway / runway sign board having UV protected face plate on both sides not more than 1.0 Sqm each consisting of non-metallic materials support structure having min tensile strength 4000.00 Kg/ Sqcm impact strength of 139.00 Kg/Sqcm, and able to withstand wind speed of 30m/s, with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out message (legends boarders letters numerals etc) sign board frame shall fixed in frangible coupling embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 block of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs taxiway / runway sign board having UV protected face plate on both sides size exceeding 1.00 Sqm but not exceeding 2.00 Sqm each consisting of non-metallic materials support structure having min tensile strength 4000.00 Kg/ Sqcm impact strength of 139.00 Kg/Sqcm, and able to withstand wind speed of 30m/s, with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out message (legends boarders letters numerals etc) sign board frame shall fixed in frangible coupling embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 block of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, separation of serviceable materials from the unserviceable, stacking the serviceable materials within 100 M and disposal of unserviceable materials, debris and rubbish to a distance not exceeding 100 M complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Material & labour for precast cement concrete 1:2:4, type B1 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc.) shelves and similar articles with plain faces and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge. Note:- Reinforcement are measured and paid separately .

Material & labour for mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia & over,cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends & binding with & including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mmdia or securing with clips quality complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Supply & fixing in repairs High intensity prismatic grade retro reflective self adhesive sheeting on runway DTGM board, size of letters 100cm to 150cm high, 70cm to 80cm wide with letter width of 15cm to 16cm fixed in DTGM board (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and M) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Supply & fix for framed work of angles, channel or steel tubes such as grills, gratiings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and / or riveted or forged into spikes, framed, illuminated wind direction indicator and similar work conforming to Fe 290. Gde E-165 complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Supply & fix IS marked ball bearing for 90mm inner dia complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.

Supply & fixing in repairs 3 mm thick PVC Acrylic sheet for light sign board with one side clear sheet and one side encrepted sheet with black/white letter and yellow/black back side and fixed withself adhesive sheeting on runway board and sign boards as lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc including removing old/existing sheeting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- The work will be carried out as per user requirement from 1830 hrs to 0600 Hrs or as directed. The deployment of labour and T&P arrangement on the Runway shall be intimated to the contractor by 0800 Hrs each day in the morning. The contractor shall be provide necessary arrangement such as lights, portable generator, pneumatic road roller, bitumen paver, bitumen sprayer and other required T&P etc and quote the rate accordingly for considering late working hours at night. Nothing extra will be paid on this account complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in - Charge.. Note for all items:-The work will be carried out as per user requirement from 1830 hrs to 0600 Hrs. The deployment of labour and T&P arrangement on the Runway shall be intimated to the contractor lby 0800 Hrs each day in the moring. The contractor has to provide necessary arrangement such as lights etc and quote the rate accordingly for considering late working hours at night. Nothing extra will be paid on this account.
