| 1.01 | A) Repairing of holes of Top and Bottom Tube Plate of Calandria (both tube plate) of B-Continuous Pan.
Main jobs to be carried out:
a) Built up worn-out hole of tube plate with MS welding electrode.
b) Boring of the damaged hole of tube plate.
c) Fabrication & machining of suitable size MS Sleeve.
d) Push fitting of sleeve in the tube plate hole and machining of bore of sleeve to suit outside diameter (OD) of the tube.
Note: Standard size of tube ID 98 mm x OD 102 mm x 805 mm long.
Scope of bidder/party:
i) Supply of duly machined MS sleeve & material of sleeve MS IS:2062, Grade-A
ii) Magnetic boring machine with related attachments i.e. etension bar & tool bit etc.
iii) All required tools & tackles.

| 1.02 | B) S.S. Tube Fitting and Expanding in Tube Plate.
The work shall include the following:
a) Removal of damaged/defective tubes, whereever required followed by fitting of new/replacement SS Tubes in nthe tube plate.
b) Proper expanding of the SS Tubes in the tube plate to ensure a tight and leak-proof joint.
c) After completion of tube fitting and expanding work, the calandria shall be subjected to hydraulic pressure testing to check the intergrity and leak-proof condition of the reqpaired tube plates and tube joints.
d) Any leakage observed in the repaired tubes during hydraulic testing due to improper fitting/expanding shall be rectified by the bidder/party at no additional cost to the Mill. | 1 | Each Tube | - | - |
