Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent diesel engine driven generating set outdoor type 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire as per BS 5514/IS-10002 as per existing CPCB-IV norms complete with standard control panel, of capacity continuous rating 30 KVA/24 KW at NTP conditions with acoustic enclosure and canopy cover considering all derating factors and comprising of the following :- (a) ALTERNATOR : Self regulated with brushless self excitation 30 KVA, 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ, 0.8 P.F.,1500 RPM, with voltage variation plus or minus 2.5% of rated voltage from no-load to full-load foot mounted, screen protected drip proof type with class 'F' insulation, closed coupled single bearing alternator, with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers, conforming to BS-5000/IS-4772, capable of supplying unbalanced load. (b) ENGINE : Multi/cylinder,compression ignition, heavy duty,compact diesel engine liquid cooled with standard accessories, all as per BS-5514/ISO-3046,1500 RPM,control gauges, RPM/Hours meters etc; shaft H.P. suitable for generating application and capable of giving an output of 30 KVA/24 KW for coupled alternator under NTP conditions, complete with following:- (i) Flywheel housing with flywheel to suit closed coupled single bearing alternator. (ii) Air-cleaner dry type with vacuum indicator.

(iii) Fuel pump and fuel piping. (iv) Fuel filter with water separator and filter element. (v) Lub-oil filter with filter element (vi) D.C. starter 12 volts. (vii) Storage Batteries of suitable voltage and ampere-hours as recommended by the manufacturers. (viii) Residential silencer as per existing CPCB IV norms (ix) Supporting/fixing arrangement for muffler with celiling through antivibration pads. (x) Engine overspeed stop/trip switch. (xi) Radiator with fan. (xii) Dynamo for battery charging. (xiii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant. (xiv) Engine control panel electronic digital display type consisting of battery voltage indicator, lub oil temp and pressure gauges coolant water temp gauge, RPM indicator cum hour meter etc. (xv) Safety controls for alarm due to high water temp (HWT) and low lub oil pressure (LLOP). (xvi) Any other devices/accessories recommended/supplied by the manufacturers as standard eqpt. (c) SKID : The engine and alternator will be coupled,aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from M.S. channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads of required size and numbers as recommended by the manufacturers for mounting of 30KVA/24KW DG set. (d) AMF PANEL : AMF panel shall be of suitable size factory outdoor cubical type front openable fabricated from CRCA steel sheet complete as per manufacturer specification of Diesel Engine suitable for DG Set of capacity 30 KVA in all respects.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6.3 mm thick burried directly in ground( earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal groungnd level) with top edgee of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earth strip of size 25x4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts washers of GI or steel all as shown in electrical plate No-5 of SSR Part I connected to machanery/equipments installed power house/sub station all as specified including testing on completion and taking down complete Note No-1 the unit rate shall also include for excavation earth work in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 pit RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia CTD bars @ 150mm C/C both ways funnel with 15mm bore GI watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI protection pipe wire mesh and copper lugs complete in addition to item No 1(a) to (e) of preamble ( Notes) Under sub heading earthing specified on SI page NO-389 of SSR Part-II 2004.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5m in width and 1.5 M in depth and getting out excavated soil soft/loose soil.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm

Removing excavated material / soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and lay River sand cushioning spreading levelling for cable trenches all as specified and directed (Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid)

Supply and laying well burnt bricks sub class 'B' in trenches for cable protection of U/G cable all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charges.

Supply & Lay in trenches fixed on wall (or) passing through pipes/in floors connecting up testing and commissioning of XLPE insulated armoured LT UG electric cable with aluminium conductor 1100V grade of size 25 sqmm 3.5 core. Including taking dwon complete all as specified and directed

NOTES: 1. The amount of schedule of credit shall be deducted from the total of this BOQ for arriving at contract sum. 2. The rates for RCC/PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork, shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the item. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
