SUB SWITCH BOARD

Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of cubicle

type Sub Switch Board Panel suitable for 415V, 3 Phase, 4

Wire 50 Hz AC supply system having sufficient front surface

area fabricated in compartmentalized design from CRCA

sheet steel of 14 SWG thick for frame work, covers and

gland plates, cleaning & finishing complete with 7 tank

process for powder coating in approved shade, having 250A

TPN Aluminum alloy bus bars of high conductivity, DMC /

FRP bus bar supports, with short circuit withstand capacity

of 31 MVA for 1 Sec, bottom base channel of MS section

not less than 75 mm x 50 mm x 5 mm thick, fabrication

shall be done in transportable sections, entire panel shall have

a common copper earth bar of size 25 mm x 6 mm at the

rear with 2 Nos. earth stud, solid connections from main

bus bar to switch gears with required size of AL. bus bars

and control wiring with 1.5 sq. mm. PVC insulated FRLS

copper conductor cables, cable alleys etc. The panel shall

conform to the Electrical Inspectorate standards and it shall

only be be manufactured after getting approval from the

Electrical Inspectorate and the Consultant.

EARTHING

EARTHING CONDUCTORS

Supply and providing the earth conductors of the following

sizes and laying in earth excavated trenches, clamping in

built up trenches , walls, trays, racks, risers, trusses, etc

using heavy duty Aluminium Flat or heavy duty GI spacer

saddles of which spacing of clamps not exceeding 60cm

without making holes in the earthing conductor and pulling

through pipes including all minor civil works. All the joints

should be properly tinned and connections should only be

done using SS Nut and Bolts with double washers etc as

required.

MS STRUCTURALS

using M.S angles and plates of adequate size painted with

painted with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of

epoxy grey paint.

Supply, fabrication and installation of checkered plates of

epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy grey paint.

Zinc chromate primer and two coats of black enamel paint.

CABLE ROUTE MARKER

Supply and fixing cable route marker with 10 cm X 10 cm

X 5 mm thick G.I. plate with inscription there on, bolted /

welded to 35 mm X 35 mm X 6 mm angle iron, 60 cm long

with painting and fixing the same in ground at 5 meter

intervel with cement concrete in M.15 Grade (1:2:4) etc.

EARTH EXCAVATION AND BACK FILLING

Excavation of all types of soils for the laying of XLPE

insulated power cable, GI / HDPE Pipes, Earthing Copper

conductors to the required width and depth up to1.2m and

back filling after providing sand cushioning and protective

covering by laying bricks breadth wise above the cable. The

supply of sand and bricks will come within this scope. The

trench dimensions and specifications shall be as per the

Electrical Inspectorate & CPWD standards.

SAFETY EQUIPMENTS

Supply and fixing MV danger notice plate of 200 mm x

150mm, made of mild stee,l at least 2mm thick and vitreous

enameled white on both sides and with inscriptions in signal

red colour on front side as required.

Supply and fixing 2Kg Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) type

fire extinguisher complete with Gun Metal cap, hose with

squeeze grip nozzle, wall fixing brackets conforming to

BIS: 2171 and with ISI mark

bucket painted in post office red colour with prior coat of
