Taking out existing interlocking paver blocks from settled or depressed areas carefully to avoid damage to the edges; cleaning and stacking the serviceable block for reuse; removal of the existing disturbed bedding layer and disposal of surplus material; preparing and levelling the sub-grade/ sub-base as per existing road level including required pcc thickness with PCC 1:2:4 and necessary dressing by mechanical compaction with a plate vibrator to achieve a firm surface; providing and laying a fresh bedding layer of clean, sharp sand (graded 0-4mm) with a thickness of 25mm to 40mm; relaying the salvaged blocks in the required pattern; filling joints with fine, dry san (passing through 1.18mm sieve) and final compaction of the surface with a plate vibrator (fitted with a rubber protector) until the blocks are fully seated and level with the surrounding pavement; including all labor and incidental materials required to complete the work.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonary built in cement mortar incl all quions arches, pillar or any other descrption etc complete including disposal of unserviceable rubbish outside cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Cement concrete unreinforced as in Ground Floor and paving n. exc. 15cm thick (above or below G.L.) complete including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, if any complete including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Hardcore of Broken stone or boulders of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5mtr deep and getting out, in any type of soil as directed by Engineer-in-Charge cesspit etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas in any type of soil ,n.exe 1.50mtr deep and getting out, in any type of soil all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge cesspit etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each,excavated soil in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance exc. 1.5 Km but n exc. 5 Km and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
