Maintenance of EOT HOT Cranes including Load Testing and Replacement of Worn out Parts of EOT HOT Crane at NSTL Technical Area visakhapatnam

(ii) HOIST MOTION (a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of main bearings of the Rope Drum including greasing the same (d) Checking grease of Geared couplings and nut tightening. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil. (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value. (g) Checking wire rope for any damage & greasing the rope. (h) Adjustment of the rotary limit switch. (j) Checking of Bearing of the Hook and greasing the same. (iii) ELECTRICAL PANEL (a) Checking the contactors for overheating or flashing. (b) General checking of contacts and connections. (c) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections. (d) Checking of connections of VVVF drives/other drive, calibrating VVVF drive to get smooth movement & maximum efficiency / other drives for smooth functioning of the same. Details of Cranes under mentioned are located at Various Technical bldgs of NSTL

[a] 3 Ton capacity EOT cranes - 12 Nos

[b] 2 Ton capacity EOT/Monorail crane - 02 Nos

[c] 1 Ton capacity EOT/Mono rail crane - 01 Nos

(ii) Cost of spares, required other than specified shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A' (iii) The rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed Accident Insurance of the working persons during working hours (iv) The rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed for the proper different qualified man power for maintanance and attending repairs / complaints including safety belts,healmets and shoes etc., (v) After lodging the complaint , the tenderer has to rectify the complaint within 24 hours. (vi) The contractor shall deploye daily Crane Mechanic along with Helper to attend the complaint ,comprehensive,preventive & periodocal services for smooth functioning of all cranes. (vii) The contractor shall maintain all installations provided under this contract as per IE Rules / Standard Engineering Practice and maintenance of installation Log Book and Maintenance Register. (viii)The above item execute after completion of running contract.

M &L for Carrying out load testing of EOT crane of capacity 3 TON to prove the satisfactory operation of electrical controls motors gears boxes protective device system interlocks mechanical componeants like wire rope Wels scecctions of the crane in all Motions (LT CT Hoist in high full load and testing of crane in over load at 110% and deflection test all as per IS:3177 of 1977 through Competent person of AP factory rules or any accredited agency as approved by AGE(I), duly certified including all consumables completed all as specified. (Note: (i) Necessary pre calibrated certified loads(50 Kg pieces for higher alttitude) with load cell digital/ analogue type and Hydraulic mobile crane at site required for carrying load test shall be arranged by contractor and the rate quoted shall be inclusive of the same. (ii) Contractor has to arrange necessary tarpaulin/plywood to unload weights on the floor and ensure that the electrostatic floor/floor surfaces is not scratched/damaged during testing. (iii) Contractor submit two sets of original load test certificates to Department.

Supply, fixing, testing and commissioning of VVVF drive with required resistance, power and control cables, cable lugs for fixing of drive suitable for CT and LT work on Main Hoist Operation for 1 tonne to 3 tonne capacity EOT cranes complete by removing the old defective drive all as specified and directed.
