Repair/Maint of Old rusted pipeline, Motors /pumps and cleaning of OHT Tank and UG Sump and allied works at AF Stn Mandore

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth, or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or laying underground cable and water supply pipe lines etc. in hard/dense soil/rocks, & getting out including taking out old brick or precast cable cover complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil/\ complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removal of excavated soil material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down 15mm bore galvanised steel water tubing including connections, fixed in walls, ceiling or laid under floor or laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supplying, fixing and testing in replacement of 80mm bore cast iron sluice valve with langed ends drilled ISI marked conforming Class PN 1.6 to IS 14846-2000 with stainless steel spindle with iron wheel, CI gate with brass nut, bolts, washers and rubber packing for connecting pieces etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 100 mm dia bore.

Supply & fixing as in repair cast iron body Foot valve of size 80mm bore ISI marked with IS 4038 with flanged ends and drilled, with neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts bolts (high tensile) washers etc complete including testing all as specified.

All as per item No. 19 abov but size of 100mm

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing 100mm bore centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends class K-7, confirming to IS : 8329/2000 blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for rubber gasket jointing / tyton joints with inside cement mortar lining and black bitumen external coating, duly (ISI marked) laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) DI fittings shall be measured and paid separately under respective items (ii) Pipes shall be laid in trenches already excavated for taking out old GI pipe line. Extra excavation / earthwork shall not be paid.

S&F in replacement gun metal globe or gate valve 20mm bore with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F Cast iron non return valve / reflux valve with rubber seat flanged type with by pass arrangement suitable for 80mm bore pipe, ISI marked, conforming to IS- 5312/2004 with stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass nuts, bolts, washers and jointing with necessary ruber gasket etc including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable sluice valve of 80 mm bore, complete, all as specified & directed.

All as per Srl item No 26 above but 100 mm dia bore.

Supplying & fixing DI fittings confirming to IS-9523-2000 suitable for spigot & socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc),tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross collar, caps and plugs etc. suitable for spigot and socketed pipes upto 150 mm bore, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for 'D' Joint suitable for DI /CI/GI pipe sizes 50 mm dia bore including excavation work and other fittings as required including testing at site complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Surface cleaning by removing the roots completely from the earth, shrubs, vegetation, grass, bushes, weeds by excavation not exceeding 15cm deep including sweeping removing the same to distance not exceeding 50m away from the installation and burning the same all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for taking out of Elect Motor 20/30 HP Capacity installed as motor from foundation after disconnecting electrical connections, dismantling motor and rewiding the same with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge including varnishing, baking, cotton tape and greasing of bearings, bushes and other connected parts, reassembling and fixing the same in its original position including replacement of unserviceable nut-bolts, washer, lugs, terminal plate and making proper electrical connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Make of winding wire : - Devidayal / Chetak Note : - (i) Bearing if required for replacement shall be paid seprately (ii) Transportation of motor is included in the unit rate of items nothing extra shall be paid on this account

All as per serial item No. 36 above but motor of capacity 10/12.5 HP

All as per serial item No. 36 above but motor of capacity 7.5 HP

Taking out centrifugal motor of any capacity from foundation, dismantling the motor, taking out rotor and filling the material by welding work, finishing by lathe machine, replacement of unserviceable bearing, reassembling the motor and fixed in its original position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: - (i) Bearing shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” (ii) New Nuts, bolts and washers if required for refixing the motor shall be provided by the contractor, nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Supply only Ball Bearing of suitable size for rotor of motor 20/30 HP installed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No 40 above but for motor of 10 /12.5 HP.

Taking out defective centrifugal pump set , assembled with 20/30 HP elelctric motor, dismantling the pump set for carrying out repair / replacement of unserviceable parts such as CI impeller, Bush, ball bearing etc. reassembling, installing, commissioning and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :(i) CI impeller, Bush & ball bearing required to replace shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ as “Supply only”. (ii) The cost of transportation is included in the unit rate of this item nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M & L for cleaning of RCC underground sump of capacity 50000 Gallons at AF Stn Mandore , dewatering the sump with water lifting pump , de-scaling internal surfaces of underground sumps with wire brush , removing the deposited mud from inside the sump , washing with bleaching powder & flush water two times and dewatering, applying two coats of lime wash inside the sump including writing capacity of tank , date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint of white tint over black base (size of letter 5 mm thick and 15 cm in height) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning of RCC underground sump of capacity 50000 Gallons at Balsamand site AF Stn Mandore , dewatering the sump with water lifting pump , de-scaling internal surfaces of underground sumps with wire brush , removing the deposited mud from inside the sump , washing with bleaching powder & flush water two times and dewatering, applying two coats of lime wash inside the sump including writing capacity of tank , date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint of white tint over black base (size of letter 5 mm thick and 15 cm in height) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cleaning of RCC OHT capacity 50000 Gallons at AF Stn Mandore by descaling internal surfaces of OHT with wire brush , removing the deposited mud from inside tank , washing with bleaching powder & flush water two times and dewatering including writing capacity of tank , date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint of tint white over black case (size of letter 10mm thick and 20 cm in height) complete all as specified and as directed

Cleaning of SWT pumping out complete/flushing out dirty water mud sludge dirt etc from inside the SWT by mud pump/bucket (Manually), cleaning in side walls, top & bottom surface of the SWT scraping, with wire brush, removing mud and sludge etc from tank to a distance upto 50 mtrs and depositing all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site washing the SWT/pipes with bleaching powder solution and finally applying cement coat with 2% of potassium permanganate solution for disinfection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge including making with black paint of static water tank cleaned on dt of following capacity/depth :-
