Comprehensive maintenance for diesel engine driven generating pumpset by carrying out routine 'A' check of the engine complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed for upto 85 bhp installed at FWPH EOC jetty including attending to under mentioned jobs to ensure its satisfactory performance:- Note 1: Quoted Rates are deemed to be for carrying out A checks as under. (a) Checking the fan belt and adjusting tension (b) Checking the fuel and oil filter (c) Checking the air filter including cleaning and refixing (d) Checking of FIP oil level (e) Tightening the base bolts and nuts (f) Checking the coupling bolts and adjustment checking the self starter and Dynamo

(g) Checking the battery distilled water levels and topping upto the required level. (h) Checking the panels (Manual as well as AMF) attached to the DG set for loose connections, defects if any in the panel Board and replacement of spares all as directed. (i) Checking the anti vibration mounting and adjusting the bolt. (j) Checking the radiator and radiator hose and arresting leak if any (k) Checking the engine oil level and topping upto the required level (l) Checking the cleanliness of DG set and cleaning properly in and out of dg set around an area covering 50 mtrs (m) Checking for any leakages after proper inspection and arresting immediately Note 2 :- (i) Control switches , MCCB's, contactors, multi display meters , Engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall be exlusive for servicing/ maintenance of the above item of work.

(ii) Servicing of DG set alongwith connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including 'A' check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every month (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenenace period and shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenence / breakdown repairs as and when required in that period except in case of major repairs. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be inluded in the rate quoted . (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

Maintenance and servicing of following Diesel Generator sets by carrying out routine 'B' check of the engine including items covered in 'A' check complete for smooth functiuning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed for upto 85 bhp installed at at FWPH EOC jetty. Note 1: Quoted Rates are deemed to be for carrying out B checks as under. (a) Change oil (b) Change oil filter,fuel filter,bypass filter,air filter (c) Change water seperator (d) Radiator cleaning with chemical (e) Check all electrical terminals (f) check for turbo charger and service (g) Check for injector pin and service (h) Check for cylinder head and service (i) Check for pit pump and service

NOTE 2:- (i) Control switches , MCCB's, contactors, multi display meters , Engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall be exlusive for servicing/ maintenance of the above item of work. ii) 'B' check shall be carried out once in every six months or 250 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier. Servicing of DG Set alonwith connected Alternator and AMF Panel Board including items covered in 'A' check of the Engine shall also be carried out in that month as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG Set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance / breakdown repairs as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs.

(iii) Spare parts , engine oil and radiator coolant oil required during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid seperatly at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (iv) Cost of all consumables, diesel / oil filters etc., required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item.

Material and labour for cleaning semi underground sump of 4.0 lakhs Litres capacity (Main pump house) after every three month including removing all scales, dirt and sediments etc., by using wire brush or other means from the floor and side walls of semi under-ground sump including washing the entire sump with bleaching powder and apply one coat of white wash to the inner side walls complete all as specified and as directed Note : Each time cleaning of each semi underground sump shall be considered as one Job.

Chemical and biological testing of raw water from NABL accredited laboratory and submit the test report to the Engineet-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed (sample to be collected from inlet source at FWPH)

Attending electrical complaints of electrical pump set/ starters/LT panels provided inside Dockyard , decarbonizing the , replacing lugs, wornout screws, nuts, bolts and washers, tightening the loose connections whereever required and restore the power supply complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Replacement of spares viz meters /CTs, MCCB, contracts, breakers, ACBs, starters will be measured and paid for separately as supply only and labour element for taking down the replaced spares shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted. (ii) If the No of complaints to be attended in a starter panel / LT panel is more than 01 No in a day, altogether the complaints is considered only 1 (one). (iii) The contractor has to engage qualified electricians and helpers in sufficient Nos to attend and rectify the defects.
