Memo No- 7956/NKDA / Engg/EE(PandGV) /632/2025 - Plantation and maintenance (for 02 year) of flower and fruit bearing trees (25000 Nos) within the New Town Kolkata under NKDA (Part-A)

Preparation of beds for hedging and shrubbery by excavating 60cm deep and trenching the excavated base to a further depth of 30cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods and mixing with sludge or manure in the ratio of 8:1 ( 8 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20%, one part of stacked volume of sludge or manure after reduction by 8%), flooding with water, filling with earth if necessary watering and finally fine dressing, levelling etc., including stacking and disposal of materials declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and levelling as directed, within a lead of 50m lift upto 1.5m complete. This includes supply of labour, tools & plants including materials.

Planting of trees ( Avenue plants) in 0.60m dia hole, 1m deep dug in the ground, mixing the soil with decayed farm yard/sludge manure. This includes supply of labour, tools & plants including materials but excluding cost of tree.

Maintanance of trees for one year (Avenue Plants) including watering, trimming, manuring, spraying insecticide and guarding as required. This includes supply of labour, tools & plants including materials. ( 25000 nos @ 2 years = 50000 Nos)

Strong bamboo posts, posts plates, rafters, ties etc. fitted and fixed complete with coir rope or nails as directed. (with coir rope for giving stability to the plant). (a) 75 mm. dia bamboo (half bamboo post to be used for each plant) (25000 x 2.10)/2= 26250.00 Mtr

Making of bamboo gabion (equilateral triangle) size 1200mm X 1200 mm with 3 nos half splited bamboo post hight of 1700 mm (including embaded 500 mm ground) dully coaltering fixing of quarter spilt bamboo rafters on three differen layers with priming & painting the shole exposed bamboo fixing of nylen 3 mm gaze net (blue colour) out bending with bambhoo gabion to protect from cattle including baour, material tools and taxes excluding G.S.T. & cess
