SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R PORTION)

M & L for Repairs of potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm and exc 30mm in depth, making good by applying tack @ 5kg per 10 sqm with paving bitumin of grade VG-30, putting in premixed bituminous macadam specified for thinbituminous carpet with 0.27 cum of stone chipping mixed with binder (Paving bitumin of grade VG-30), well rammed and sealed with premixed liquid seal coat @9.8 kg of binder with 0.09cum of stone chuipping, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed(incl supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping), complete all as specifiedand as directed.

M&L for prepration of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finnaly fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or mechanical blower to remove all loose soil, dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Paving bitumin for applying evenly a primimg/ tack coat with bituminous primer at 5kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete, 40 mm thick (consolidated thickness) with minimum 5.5% binder of paving bitumen VG-30 grade, content by weight of total mix including cement filler ,on surfaces, rolled compacted with using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to achieve the required compactness, camber and gradient , mixed in hot mix plant as per design mix and laid by mechanical paver finisher complete all as specified and directed. Note:-The actual binder content used shall be as per optimum content based on approved job mix formula with minimum content of 5.5% by weight of total mix.

M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 1.50 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the line n.exc 10cm wide on pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing surfaces brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applyingh evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and bitumious premix semidense ashaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder contentby weight total mix rolled & compacted to required camber & gradient complete

M&L Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters,etc. on roads pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow adequate no of coats all as specified and directed.
