Taking up or down old existing GI tubing and connections, including connected fittings/ accessories and fixtures of any description/ grade and in any position in trenches/under floors/road / floor /duct on walls etc and including cleaning for reuse if serviceable or unserviceable to be removal and deposited to store complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge(Note:- (i) Earth work in excavation, returning filling in and removal & GI fitting shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items of Schedule ‘A’ for the following bore of pipes:-

Laying, connecting & testing of galvanised iron water tubing 'medium grade' conforming to IS-1239 with and including all GI fittings such as unions, reducer sockets, socket reducing bends, elbows, tee, checknuts, caps, plugs etc as required complete fixed to walls and ceilings, laid in trenches/under floor/under road or floors complete including transportation of pipe from MES store (Note:-(i) Earth work in excavation, returning filling in and removal & GI fitting shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items of Schedule ‘A’. (ii) GI pipes supplied from MES store as Sch'B' Store) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge for the following bore of pipes :-

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep in soft/loose soil including forming sides and bottom surface to required levels/slops/gradients etc. complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge Note:- The disturbed surface of roads/paths/plinths etc. shall be repaired and quoted rates deemed to include this aspect.

Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description as in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (above or below ground complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick or stone boulder masonry built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone works and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed

M&L75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C2, using 40mm graded aggregate as in Ramp/Plinth protection and platform and floor including finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth W/O using extra cement.

M&L for chequered cement concrete tile 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 mm thick set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floor with grey cement and pigment to match including screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar 1:6, 15mm thick for laying floor finished and complete.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick masonry including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 mtr mean radius, old size brick built in Cement Mortar (1:4), for manholes complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in copings, holdfast and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed with and including necessary form work complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, fixing and testing in replacement of unserviceable Gate valve/Globe valve and Supply, fixing, jointing and testing, of gun metal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head, both ends screwed for iron pipe, conforming to IS 778 complete, all as specified and directed for following bore of pipes :- (Make: Sant/Bir/ Leader/Upadhaya)

Taking out or down defective sluice valve from main line and opening carefully old defective sluice valve of any description and in any position for and including servicing, over-hauling / greasing etc, and replacement of old unserviceable / worn out parts and reassembling the sluice valve after repair and refixing the same & testing after installation complete, all as specified and directed Engr-in-Charge for following bores :- Note :- (i) The cost of Earth work, joints & jointing materials washers, gaskets and minor parts shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates but Replacement of the defective parts i.e. cast iron gate & stainless steel spindle of Sluice valve shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only under appropriate items of Schedule ‘A’

Supply, installation, fixing, jointing and testing in replacement of unserviceable cast iron sluice valve of class PN-1 both ends flanged with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle, short body type, conforming to IS-14846 of 2000 including rubber gasket and nut blot with washer for flange joints complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge for following bores :- Notes:- The cost of Earth work, joints & jointing materials of the sluice valve shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L in replacement of valve pit covers and Supply, fabrication and fixing of new valve pit covers fabricated from 3mm thick MS sheet with suitable size of MS angle iron frame including locking arrangement, suitable handle , fixed with hinged arrangement and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for cleaning/ scraping of steel/ cast iron surfaces of existing dull painting of Valve pit chamber inner pipe lines and valves etc and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint over a coat of red oxide primer by spray machine complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : The Chamber, valves, connected pipe line etc. shall be painted according to colour code specified as per IS Instructions and as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Supply only pig lead of best quality conforming to IS : 782 – 1978 for providing lead joints complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply only wool lead of best quality conforming to relevant IS for providing lead joints complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
