Annual Maintenance Contract of Entrance channel Navigational lights, Buoy Lights and Tower Lights etc., for a period of two year

PART- A Annual Maintenance Contract of various navigational lights and tower lights i.e. breakwater lights, floating buoys, sector lighting, leading lights, tube lights, signal lights etc. including associated electrical switchgears located at Lova gardens area and other respective locations by attending the works as detailed in the annexure-I under the supervision of qualified personal as detailed in annexure-II as directed by Engineer in charge. NOTE:- A suitable launch from DC jetty will be provided by VPT at free of cost for attending the Repair/Maintenance works of Break water lights /Floating Buoy lights etc. However, a Toe boat is to be arranged by the Contractor as and when required at cost and responsibility of the Contractor only.

PART- B Supply and Fabrication, erection, welding and fixing of channels, angles, clamps etc. for fixing of navigational lights, luminaries, brackets, cables, junction boxes etc. with suitable size MS channels, angles, flats, base plates GI bolts, nuts, etc. with one coat of red oxide paint including transportation from E/M Section / general stores as directed complete all labour tools and material

Supply, fixing, testing & commissioning of Navigational Solar charger. Charger voltage 12V DC, Voltage window 10.5 to 13.8V DC, Trickle charging: 250m A, Current limit 10 Amps (Adj), Solar light sensor, Compact for flasher operation, Over load protection. CVCC system, Environmental condition. Saline Atmosphere (Sea weather) on existing Navigation tower of Approved brands as directed by Engineer-in-charge including all labour, material tools & tackles.

Supply, fixing, testing & commissioning of 35 watts, 12V solar Panels for navigation lights required for north and south bank of channel. Dimension: 650mm x 530mm of approved brands as directed by Engineer-incharge including all labour, material tools & tackles.

Painting of Navigational towers / structures and poles etc. with one coat of aluminum paint over one coat of red oxide primer duly chipping, cleaning the surface and painting of day mark on wooden planks with epoxy red and white colour duly preparing the surface as directed by Engineer in charge including all labour tools and tackles. (Required paint/primer will be supplied by VPT at free of cost. Also necessary wooden planks for day marks will be supplied by VPT at free of cost, if necessary).

Dismantling of structural steel sections such as joists, channels, angles etc. including stacking of useful materials and transporting the same to E/M / General stores as directed by Engineer in charge including all labour tools and tackles. (Note: The items under part B of work schedule will be operated as and when required and payment will be made for the quantity executed as per the rate quoted).
