Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means in all type of strata comprising any of materials such as soil, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerate laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrate-ted all such other materials whether full or parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling wedging in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged foul conditions, etc. including pumping or bailing out water and disposing of excavated soil/rock as directed by the engineer-in-charge with all leads and lifts etc. as specified and directed etc. complete

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement :2 coarse sand : 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a) All works upto plinth level

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of formwork for a) Foundations, footings, bases for Columns and mass concrete.

Refilling the pipeline/ foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 m and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by engineer in charge.
