Labour only for checking the serviceability of the different spares / components / parts of security light fittings/post top lantern light fittings (LED, flood light/focus light etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and fixed in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and directed. NOTES:- (i) Replacement of parts i.e LED driver for Flood light/ LED/Focus light fittings any wattage & capacity, if any required at site, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A'/BOQ as ‘supply only.

(ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site. (iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fittings in serviceable/working condition.

(v) Contractor’s quoted rates for is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed.

M&L for replacement of steel wire rope of size 5mm dia (as per existing) with required nuts, bolts and hooks including taking down old unserviceable steel wire rope from different high mast towers.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc including taking out cable cover or stone slab, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3.0m in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cables, errection of poles, struts / stays etc including taking out cable cover or stone slab, not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates for foundation of poles / struts / stays / fencing post etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolt, nut and screws as specified 410 SP-55 (9 mter long) including taking down old damaged pole of any type and size, including one coat of red-oxide zinc chrome primer and two coats aluminium paint on surfaces, exposed to view and making 30cm wide strips (Total 5 Nos) with yellow and black paint alternately on external surface, above PCC benching including with writing of pole No with letters/figures of size not exc 30 mm with black paint on a yellow circle of dia 75 mm after painting complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for prepration of old concrete surface of HT poles, 11 metres high including PCC coping, removing old paint particles and apply two coats of cement base paint on the surface of pole and PCC coping, applying two coat of aluminium paint on cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, eye hooks, security light bracket clamp etc and marking black and white strips with synthetic enamel paint, 30 cm wide, alternatively upto 1.5 mtr above the coping of pole starting with black strip complete, all as specified and directed. Note. (i) The quoted rate shall include marking of numbers on each HT pole as per direction of Engr in-Charge. (ii) The quoted rates includes the cost of repairing of coping in cement mortar 1:3 finishing surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement.

Trimming of tree branches from LT overhead line to branch 2 mtr up to both side & re-stretching of ACSR conductor and earth wire of any size and type on LT poles including disconnecting and rebinding with insulators with suitable size of binding wire after restretching, connecting jumpers, adjusting line deviders and disposal tree branches as per direction by Engr-in-Charge complete including removing and refixing of UG cable /service wires to the ACSR conductor complete. Note:- Pole to pole length shall be measured and paid as one run

M&L 25X20cm size HT danger notice plate of 1.60mm thick mild steel sheet,vitreous enamelled white,with letters,figures and conventional skull and bones in single red colour and fixed with M.S clamps,bolts and nuts including taking down existing rusted danger notice plate complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants / bushes etc clamping up towards the poles and stays etc including cleaning bottom surface area of pole & stay not less than 1m x 1m by surface dressing of earth outside and inside sub stations, perimeter fencing around pump house area, and in drains surrounding area from site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm size around two pole/ four pole structure in 15 cm thickness after cleaning area by removing existing wild grass, vegetation, creepers, small plants/bushes etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecing, taking down and stacking the unserviceable /broken earth wire /strip of any size from the roof or from wall and removing the same from the site complete all as directed.

S&F in replacement air termination vertical type, single pointed made with 12mm dia 300mm long aluminium rod including necessary fixing arrangements with aluminium bolts, nuts, lead wasters etc. complete and incl provisin of GI tubing light grade 40mm dia, 300mm long embedded in PCC block (size 30cm x 30cm x 30cm) one end and other end fitted with air termination rod all as specified and directed.

S&F horizontal/down conductors aluminium strip of size 25mm x 3.15mm and including epoxy insulator bus bar type 40mm thick at an interwal of 60cm apart for lightening protection on roof and for down conductors, including all fixing arrangement sand aluminiun nut, bolt & washers complete all as per IS-2309-1989 and testing all as specified. Note:- Aluminium strip shall be jointed with rivets minimum 4 Nos.

S&F in replacement test point terminal block madeout and gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw for fixing the same on wall as as directed at site.

S&F galvanised from strip of size 32mmx 6mm from earth pit to test point provided all around the bldg for lightening protection laid in trenches/fixed to walls on epoxy insulators with screws etc and connecting up complete all as directed..

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead strip 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as directed.

Note:-(i) The concrete pit shall be of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I. (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m GI for protection of earth strip. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

M&L monthly Inspection, maintenance and serviceing of DG sets of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a) 62.5 KVA Capacity, Make: Cummins, - 03 Nos (b) 40 KVA Capacity, Make: Cummins-03 Nos (i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required. Note:-(i) Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring. Dismantling of chain link wire mesh of any type including removing of rusted unserviceable wire mesh, flat iton, round bar MS, nuts & bolts from work site all as directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n.exc 0.50 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m and making good surface (Soft/loose soil) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc flat iron fillets including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc and similar work conforming to Fe 290 (Gde-E-165) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description n.exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthatic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.
