DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth of trenches for laying of pipe lines and getting out including forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) at a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing dry sand as in cushioning to underground cable including punning down of sand in layers as specified and directed.

M&L for brick protection cover of UG cable by using old size sub class 'B''common burnt clay building bricks, laid dry and flat abutting each other with width equal to length of the brick and gap between adjacent brick n.exc 10 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S & F XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 6 sq. mm 2 core complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in cills, copings, pole pedestals, plinth courses and the like including necessary form work, weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installing steel tubular swaged poles type 410-SP-31 (9 mtr long) with mild steel base plate of size 30cmx30cmx6mm thick, welded at bottom and cap finial taper plugs, bolt, nuts and screw as specified and fixed in true vertical position complete including dismantling of US existing pole by breaking PCC coping and making good as existing ground from site complete as directed by Engr -in-Charge.all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Earth work and PCC in foundation / coping/padestal shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items. (b) Poles shall be painted with two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally, and externally upto planting depth. The remaining portion of the exterior surface shall be painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

Disconnecting and taking out LT/HT OH line conductor with GI earth wire of any size fixed on existing cross arms by loosing the binding wire from the insulator where ever necessary and refixing /restraining, securing, tightening the OH lines in each span n.exc 35 m (average) for three phase and neutral with street light feeder and GI guard wire all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

S&F galvanized steel stay assembly complete with stay rod 20mm dia including stay wire 7/3.15 mm fixed for stay of poles including necessary MS clamp of flat iron 50x6mm, nuts & bolts etc complete including dismantling of stay assembly from site and making good as per existing complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work & PCC in foundation / coping shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items.

M& L for Cleaning and preparation of LT overhead line pole complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels/ brackets , cross arms and making red & white strips with synthetic enameled paint of 30 cm height, each alternative strip upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole numbers with yellow synthetic enameled paint after making circular base with black synthetic enameled paint and applying two coats of white wash on PCC coping complete all as specified & directed.

Dismantling old ACSR conductor service feeder distribution span and S&F new ACSR conductor of any type and size straching properly on insulators and binding with aluminium binding wires, jumpers including fixing on insulators on each pole in span and tightening with permissible sag in between span etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Measurement and payment shall be made for horizontal distance between centres of two adjacent poles and 3 % extra for sag, jointing jumper etc.

Dismantling of old rusted cross arms etc and S&F new cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps, back plates etc, fabricated from structural steel section including bolts, nuts, washers, welding, bending to shape, drilling holes etc and painted with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable shackle type and S&F new shackle type porcelain vitreous white/brown/green insulator of size 75mm height and 90mm dia, suitable for 1100 Volt grade including galvanized mild steel straps of size 31x3 mm, washers, bolts and nuts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable pin type insulator and S&F new pin type porcelain, vitreous white/brown/green insulator of size 150mm height and 150mm dia for 11000 volt grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle and two galvanized iron washers and nut etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Thermoplastic Cable Junction Boxes halogen free IP 66/69 “weather proof”, for outdoor installation (with knockouts for cable entry - Black colour ) for cable size 4-10 sqmm, size 130x 180x 77 mm with terminals, suitable mounting clamp to accomodate one MCB SP 230V, 6 Amp with Aluminium bus bar 4 Nos all as directed.

S & F in repair Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20x15cm size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing LED street light fitting 35 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp with suitable size bracket and clamp, impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Submain wiring with approved colour coding as per IS with two single core PVC insulated FR cable with stranded copper conductor of size 2.5 Sq mm nominal area and drawing into suitable size of steel conduit with 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) stranded copper conductor FR cable as earth wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Two runs of 2.5 sqmm cable,one run of 1.5 sqmm cable and one run of steel conduit 19 mm will be measured as one unit

Supply and fixing LED street light fitting 70 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum hosing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, with Microprocessor release 160 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair MCCB 4 Pole, 415 V, with Microprocessor release 250 Amps with breaking capacity 36 KA complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable Volt Meter and S&F new Volt Meter (0-500V), 3 phase, 415 volt complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing unserviceable Amp Meter and S&F new Amp Meter of 0-200 Amps with CTs complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement Aluminium bus bar in the panel of exsiting size and capacity for phase and neutral with heat shrinkable including PVC sleeves in different colour codes for phase indication all as per directed.

Clearing away all grass vegetation ,saplings, shrubs, brush wood undergrowth roots and trees not exceeding 30 CM girth (measured one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearance soft/loose soil and getting out including spreading of anti vegitation chemical on complete Area all as directed and specified.

M&L in repair/replacement for earthing complete with using galvanized mild steel earth plate (electrode) 600 mmx 600 mmx 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all round the plate using 32X6 mm GI earth strip as earth lead moulded and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to main equipment at switch/control board at another end, GI earth lead incased in and including 50 mm dia GI ‘light grade’ pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipment with & including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe ‘light grade’ as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of the earth plate, GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1(using 20 mm graded stone agg) as in pits chamber and RCC pit cover 50 mm thick of precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg) complete all specified and directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x6.0 mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4.0mm dia Protedcted by light GI Pipe 20 mm dia and 15 dia med grade for watering pipe and connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel, iron funnel,Iron pit cover and chamber all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old painted surface of panel board by cleaning removing of the old paint by scracthing with wire bursh/sand paper etc and including denting/patching of broken/rusted surfaces etc and apply one coat of synthetic enamel paint by spray painting on inside/outside surface of panel,all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing street light fitting/ flood light fitting (LED 18 to 200 watts) any type from poles/walls, de-assembling, testing of parts for serviceability, sorting serviceable and unserviceable parts, replacing unserviceable parts, re-asembling using new accessories including S&F new copper wire 3 core 1.5 sqmm of suitable size of making internal connections, testing and re-fixing in position complete all as specified and directed. Note:- New spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of Schedule ‘A’.

Supply installation,testing and commissioning in replacement in door type cubicle LT Pannel board suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 415 V, 50Hz, factory fabricated having mordern fabrication process powder coated having thickness not less than 100 microns provided with suitable rubber gasket to make it dust/ vermin proof . OUTER SHELL: The outer shell be made out of 2.00mm thick CRCA and MS angle section 50x50x6 mm frame, factory fabricated with front and back openable, double door system (back side only) lockable/ openable by keys , louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air. The bottom of the outer shell contains a detachable plate having provision for entry of armoured cable of adequate size with glands Contd.....

The dimenssion of the shell should be adequated to accommodated inner shell described below giving minimum 75mm space all around and shall be fabricated in such a way that the complete inner shell along with its control gears /accessories could be taken outside without disturbing outer shell. The outer shell shall be mounted on a zinc metal-coated stand having Zinc coating not less than 100 microns. Provision of threateded earthing stud at bottom and lifting lungs of suitable size at top to lift the panel safely shall be made. The degree of protection of outer shell shall be IP-54. Contd......

Front and back openable single door system lockable/ openable by keys from both sides having louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air. Gasket shall be used to make the inner shell completlely vermin proof and to accomodate incommer/ outgoing MCCBs and TPN Alluminium bus bar of rating not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of the incomer MCCB. The TPN bus bar shall be insulated with colour coded heat shirnkable sleeve and shall be mounted on suitable size 'F' class insulators made on non hygroscopic, non combustile, track resistant, high strength FRP/SMC/DMC material at an interval not more than 500 mm through out the length of the TPN bus bar. The cubicle shall incomer MCCB as well as outgoings shall have aluminium TPN extension links of currrent carrying capacity not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension link shall not be less than 300 mm long supported on suitable size 'F' class insulators. The degree of protection for inner shell be IP-42 & carry the following items :- Contd.......
