Rendering day to day maintenance of Carpentry works for BSNL buildings and staff quarters in jurisdiction of Civil Sub-division, Jodhpur in Jodhpur City for Three months.(2025-26) (IInd call)

Attending all day to day maintenance complaints of carpentry works complete excluding the cost of materials but including cost of washers, nails, clamps, screws ,drill machine,bit etc and for all lead & lift etc as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The material required for maintenance shall be arranged at site by the agency and will be paid separately. For the purpose of attending day to day complaints, one assistant carpentor should be available daily and one log book has to be maintained by the staff of contractor duly verified by SDO/JTO(Civil) on daily basis as a proof of attending complaints. (One job will be defined / consists execution of all above items in a day (08 Hours) as and when required. Cost of all T&P like washers, nails, clamps, screws,feviquick ,fevicol,drill machine,bit etc ladder etc for attending the work, shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra shall be paid separately.The material required for attending the complaints shall be arranged by the contractor at site and paid under sub head of "supply of material " of the agreement.

Engaging helper for attending day to day maintenance jobs for /carpentry & all other works related to day to day maintenance.( One job will be defined / consists execution of all above items in a day (08 Hours) as and when required. Supplying of ISI marked flush door shutters non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters of shutters.

Fly proof stainless steel grade 304 wire gauge with 0.5 mm dia. wire and 1.4 mm wide aperture with matching wood beading

Providing glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows using 4 mm thick float glass panes (weight not less than 10 kg per sqm) fixing with ISI marked M.S. pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws.

The hinge side vertical of the frames reinforced by galvanized M.S. tube of size 19 X 19 mm and 1mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness and 3 nos. stainless steel hinges fixed to the frame complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing to existing door frames.

30 mm thick factory made Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) door shutter made of styles and rails of a uPVC hollow section of size 60x30 mm and wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm), with inbuilt decorative moulding edging on one side. The styles and rails mitred and joint at the corners by means of M.S. galvanised/ plastic brackets of size 75x220 mm having wall thickness 1.0 mm and stainless steel screws. The styles of the shutter reinforced by inserting galvanised M.S. tube of size 25x20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness. The lock rail made up of ‘H’ section, a uPVC hollow section of size 100x30 mm and 2 mm (± 0.2 mm) wall thickness fixed to the shutter styles by means of plastic/ galvanised M.S. ‘U’ cleats. The shutter frame filled with a uPVC multi-chambered single panel of size not less than 620 mm, having over all thickness of 20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness . The panels filled vertically and tie bar at two places by inserting horizontally 6 mm galvanised M.S. rod and fastened with nuts and washers, complete as per manufacturer’s specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12mm to 20mm in patches of area 2.5 sq. meters and under including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50metres lead :

With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand).

Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty:

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) :

All T&P nails etc required for attending the work shall be arranged by the contractor and nothing extra shall be paid for.

Repairing of windows grill, railing etc by welding with Electric plant / gas plant including transportation of welding plant at site & other required T&P is to be arranged by Agency. MS sections shall be paid for separately.

Repairing and service of rolling shutter by taking out shutter top cover and cutting and tightening spring with welding and refixing the same in proper to make it operational including greasing ,oils,welding ,spring,ball bearing all complete as per direction of engineer incharge.

Repairing and service of compound gate of any size by taking out gate of single or double (leaf) including taking out (if required) and refixing the same including transportation charges of welding machine (steel member if provided shall be paid in seprate basic item) with welding to make it operational all complete as per direction of engineer incharge.

Providing and fixing 2nd class teak wood lipping / moulded beading of size 25mmX25 mm fixed with wooden adhesive of approved quality and screws /nails as per direction of Engineer-in-charge but excluding cost of labour.
