M&L for cleaning and racking out sealing compound from the existing Expansion joint of any length, 20 to 30 mm wide and 40 to 45mm deep by appropriate hand tools (chisel and hammer or "L" hook including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or any other means such as chisel hammer and grinder or any tools without damaging the edges and sides of the joint and removing the loose paarticles using wire brush and hot compressed air and priming the sides and making the surface bitumen free as per the manufacturer's instructions and providing 25 to 35mm thick de-bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealed the joints with pitch free gray polyurethane sealent confirming to BS-5212 type -FB) Minimum depth of the sealant above debonding strip shall be 10-15 mm and applying the masking tap on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed. Note: Sealing compound/ sealant and primer shall be of same make and manufacturer.

M&L for cutting existing loose patches/spelled edges, widening of existing cracks of concrete pavement in true geometrical shapes to averge depth of 20 to 25 mm using diamond cutters operated with gen sets, cleaning the surface dry and free from dust/dirt with air compressor on order to achieve proper bond between elastomeric concrete and cement concrete surface and applying polyurethane based elastomeric concrete over a coat of approved primer as per manufacturer's instruction including supply and fixing masking tape on pavement surface to prevent accidental spillage of elastromeric concrete and removing the masking tape and cleaning the area of application after the application is over complete all as specified and directed.
