BOQ ( Sch A ) Water supply works Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5mtr depth for laying pipe line and getting out including trimming sides and forming bottom surface to the required level/slope etc. complete all as specified and directed

Returning, fillingin, including spreading ,levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in shard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down existing GI tubing 100mm bore of any grade including cleaning for re-fixing serviceable pipes or removal from site complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing old retrieved serviceable steel water tubing of 100mm bore and connections in new or old position laid in trenches or on surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing 100mm bore GI water tubing medium grade, galvanised with all GI fittings (such as bends,elbows, tees, conectors, short pieces, back nuts, unions, caps & plugs etc) laid in trenches/on surface including cutttting, threading and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs sluice valve 100 mm dia of cast iron body flanged and drilled as per ISI 14846 (ISI Marked) specifications class PN-1.6 with stainless nuts,bolts, washers & fibre/rubber gasket steel spindle complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repairs cast iron non return valve of size 100 mm bore class-I PN-1.6 (ISI Marked) with both end flanged long body type with all fittings complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 1050x1050x900mm (internal dimensions) with brick work of sub class 'B' old size bricks built in cement morter 1:4 and 10mm thick rendering on internal and exposed external surface and including 40x40x6mm mild steel angle frame, 3.15mm thick mild steel sheet cover in two Nos shutters with handle and locking arrangement and 1 Nos 50mm size 4 levers lock with key in duplicate make Navtal including painting steel and iron surfaces with two coats of black bituminous paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified, shown on drawing and as directed.

Material & Labour for brick work with Sub Class 'B' old size bricks, strainght or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick work/concrete surfaces finished even & smooth (without using extra cement), complete all as specified and directed.
