CHECKING REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF EARTHING AND LIGHTENING ARRESTOR INCL DAMAGED LIGHTENING CONDUCTOR IN OTM ACCN AT NAVAL BASE MAINT AND REP TO CEILING FANS EXHAUST FANS IN OTM ACCN AT KATARIBAGH AND NAVAL BASE KOCHI UNDER GE NW KOCHI

Attending complaint including transportion of tools for rectification of urgent nature of electrical complaints like checking of existing electrical items for continuous electric supply including carrying out such as minor repairs to ceiling fans / exhaust fans like replacement of capacitors, cleaning and oiling etc. as required to make the electrical items/ appliances fully functional at Kataribagh and Naval Base area at Naval Base during off hours (1700 hrs evening to 0900 Hrs morning ) on all working days all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) The contractor should display contact number at complaint cell to register users complaint. (ii) The recovery of rupees 1000 per complaint will be charged if contractor failed to attend that in stipulated time period . (iii) Number of complaints may vary day to day and shall be on required basis. Contractor shall quote their rates accordingly including in all aspects like labours,tool,transportation etc.

M&L for checking of ceiling fans stability (like fan hooks,nuts, bolts ,hanging rod ,canopy ,washer etc ) and exhaust fan stability at Naval base all as specified and directed. Note: - 1. The contractor should prepare seperate registers at AGE E/M (NW) Kochi and enter office name with signature of offce incharge and submitted to Engineer in Charge.

Taking down fan, sealing cable end, dismantling blades, removing fan, painting of ceiling fans complete, in situ with synthetic enamel paint by spraying including filling cavities with filler, one coat after cleaning all dust etc and refixing ceiling fan (M.D.supply) and connecting up including provision of cable from ceiling rose or connector to fan complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down unserviceable ceiling fan of 1200mm/1400mm sweep, cutting out the existing burnt out fan motor winding, cleaning the motor slots, rewinding the motor with insulated copper winding wire of existing gauge, baking / heating up the motor to achieve the proper insulation resistance and refixing testing complete including marking MES No complete all as specified.

Ditto all as per item Ser No. 4 above but exhaust fan of 450/300/250 mm sweep complete all as specified.

Ditto all as per item Ser No. 4 above but wall mounted fan of 400 /450 mm sweep complete all as specified.

M&L for maintenance free chemical earthing with 01 No of copper cladded 17mm dia nickel cadmium steel with high tensile strength electrode of each of 1.8m each jointed with suitable compressive coupler planted at depth not less that 1.80m depth and duly covered with low resistant superior conductive powdered non corrosive, concrete brand earth enhancing material all as directed including connecting up to the common bus bar for a length upto 7.5 m with copper strip of size 25 x 4mm to achieve an earth resistance of below 2.0 Ohms including suitable PCC earth chamber. The copper strip shall be jointed to electrode with exothermic welding and all other joints shall be properly brazed complete all as directed after dismantling the existing unserviceable earthing. M&L for PCC 1:3:6 Type C-I using 20 mm gradaed agregate for PCC chamber of size 0.15m x 0.15m x 0.15m cube with and including FRP dunnage block, MS ferrule of suitable size and shape for mounting GI pipe 40 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge.

M&L for Checking of earthing resistance and E-N voltage with calibrated earth tester meter and multimeter including recharging of conventional earthing of lightening arrestor of building /workshop/hanger /OTM/Md Accn etc at Naval Base Kochi complete with Supply of saline water filling to earth pit in adequate quantity, chemical and, maintaining the earth testing record, rectification of earthing related fault including marking the earth resistance value using on the earth display board complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The earthing shall be tested in presence of user/user representative .
