Contract Details

Dismantling and opening of water cooled DG set of following capacity including coupled alternator with the engine unit for repair, Maintenance and servicing mechanically and electrically, including cleaning, oiling/greasing, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts,ie ‘O’ rings/dieselfilter /oil filter /Air filter /fan belt /hose/Engine Oil etc as required at site and manufacturer's instructions and checking of valves & nozzles etc, reassembling the DG set ensuring proper alignment connecting to existing system and making DG set perfectly operational and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed.Notes:-(i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch `A’ as `supply only ‘ but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O’ rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (iii) Fresh engine oil for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as “ Supply only” and shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ . Its cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item.

Supply only element diesel filter with gasket suitable for following capacity of DG set dismantled/fixed under Sch `A` item No 2.00 here in above complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out the self starter, 24 Volt DC fitted in 320 KVA 3 phase 50 Hz of DG set and strip opening of self starter 24 volt DC for carrying out repair/servicing/overhauling mechanically, cleaning, oiling/greasing/varnishing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing and replacement of defective/unserviceable part with new parts, complete and re-assembling of self starter 24 volt DC after repair/servicing/overhauling andf fixing the same in position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Repair/servicing/reassembling and testing of self startter 24 volt DC shall be carried out through authorised service centre (ii) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A' a ' supply only' but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, shim, small springs, screws/gaskets/packing/studs etc. (iii) The quoted rates of contactor are deemed to be included cost of transportation to and from authorised service centre.

M & L for Cleaning of MS fuel tank of DG sets of 320 KVA capacity by collecting the fuel in cleaned barrels and removing sludge deposited/accumulated inside the tank and cleaning the tank with kerosene oil , including replacement of fuel tank strainer and fuel gauge with new PVC fuel level indicator fixed with clips to the tank and marking levels for every 10 litre by marking and numbering on the side of fuel tank with synthetic enameled paint and refilling the collected fuel after filtration complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Cleaning of MS fuel tank of DG sets of 30 KVA capacity by collecting the fuel in cleaned barrels and removing sludge deposited/accumulated inside the tank and cleaning the tank with kerosene oil , including replacement of fuel tank strainer and fuel gauge with new PVC fuel level indicatorand refilling fuel after filtration complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting , dismantling and taking out the non- functional fuel pipe and supply , fixing, connecting and testing rubber fuel flexible pipe wire braided from fuel filter to pump including fittings suitable for 320 KVA 3 phase 50 HZ DG sets complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing for replacement of rubber pipe for drain out the engine oil 2 mtr long fixed in oil sump with proper nut ,bolt , clamp suitable for 320 KVA DG set Make Cummins. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing for replacement of copper battery lead 1.5 Mtrs long PVC insulated multi stranded with brass clamp incl necessary bolts & nuts and fixing lugs etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for cotton waste for dialy use of Gen set at power house for cleaning of the DG sets, panels pump motors complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

Dismantling the radiator from the engine of 320 KVA DG set installed at DIBER Power house and transporting the radiator from site to workshop. Dismantling the radiator in and including descaling , washing with suitable chemical, gas welding the leaking tube whichever required for proper functioning of radiator. The radiator should be fixed in proper condition by the mechanic of authorised company .After repair retransportation from workshop to site and fixing the same with engine incl replacement of all connecting hose pipe and suitable fixing clamps and reseting to complete satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for replacement of Dynoma/ alternator of 320 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make- Lucas/TVS/GEO

Disconnecting and taking down the muffler (exhaust manifold), taking out the carbon from the muffler by air pressure or using blow lamp or cutting it with machine ,then cleaning the muffler ,and again jointing the muffler by welding. Painting muffler with two coats of alumium paint over a coat of red oxide and refixing the same with required nut, bolt etc of cap 320 KVA DG set, The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A' ' supply only' but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only exhaust manifold pipe kit complete set of 320 KVA DG set.

Supply only exhaust manifold engine packing kit complete set of 320 KVA dg set.

Disconnecting and taking down the dynoma/ charging altarnator from the DG set,carrying it to the workshop for reparing , replacement the burnt/ wear and tear parts like winding, bushes, carbon bush, spring washer, and bearings which ever is required for proper functioning for dynoma/ altarnator and refixing it to the proper location of gen set with required nut, bolt for DG set of capacity 320 KVA DG, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repair and replacement of automatic voltage regulator assy of 320 KVA DG set( Cummins) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour for repair and replacement of Hose pipe clamp set different size of DG set 320 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour for repair and replacement of Hose pipe set different size of DG set 320 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour for repair and replacement of outlet radiator pipe of DG set 320 KVA complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.

Disconnecting, dismantling,and taking out of unserviceable MCCB 500 A any type any description and Supply and fixed new MCCB Triple pole, 500 Amps 415 volts, having breaking capacity 35 KA , with fixed thermal and fixed magnetic setting and testing Complete all as specified and directed. Supply install testing and connecting in replacement high performance tubular battery 12 Volt 150 AH suitable for DG set 320 KVA as per existing one Make Exide,Luminous, Amron

M&L for Elctrolite for topping up of battery

Supply and fix Main fire alarm control panel of 12 zone with PA system LCD Display of AC input supply 220 V AC 50 Hz and DC input of 24 V DC along with all necessary arrangement for fixing and installation, testing and commissining all as specified and as directed at site by Engr-in- Charge. Make- Bosch/ Macromancie/Precision.

Earthing Complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connection by using earth lead GI strip 32mmx6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron and thimbles and other end of the earth strip connected to main switch board protected by galvanised iron light grade pipe 40 mm bore in wall/floor/and GI Pipe 20mm bore light grade for watering with funnel and wire mesh PCC chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 and RCC pit cover including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning slurry approved soil and disposed of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr away all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR 2009( Part-I).

Supply only 11 KV high insulated FRP Earth /discharge rod 3 section of 15 feet.

Supply only Fuse wire of 10 Amp.

Disconnecting the alternator from the engine. Opening the alternator winding carefully and applying varnishing insulation of whole winding and servicing complete alternator all as speciefied and as directed at site by Engr-in -Charge.

Note :-Tenderers may be noted that amount of credit will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
