M & L for Site clearance by clearing away all Shrubs, Vegetation, Grass, Bushes, Weed, Trees and Saplings not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of one meter above ground level, Grubbing up tree trunk by digging out roots up to 60 cm below ground level including cutting of trunk portion protruding over ground, removal of stumps, digging out roots, filling holes and levelling off ground, filled up with earth, well rammed and levelled, removing boulders if any which interfere with the work, after breaking down if necessary including stacking of serviceable material and removing of unserviceable material to a distance not exceeding 50m / outside the periphery of the area under clearance and burnt or otherwise disposed of as directed in low laying areas outside the MD Land complete all as specified and as directed.,

Demolition of Brickwork or Stone / Boulder Masonry, built in Cement Mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling PCC by Mechanical means [Drilling / Chiselling without disturbing existing concrete adjacent to dismantled portion] for fixing new Angle Iron on existing concrete surfaces and Pavings as per site requirement and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of Unreinforced Cement Concrete in ground floors and Pavings of any thick [below or above ground level] by Mechanical means on existing concrete surfaces and Pavings for laying new layer of concrete as per site requirement without disturbing the under layers and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Fencing Wire Mesh including Concertina Coil & Barbed Wire of any type including Running Bars, Straining Wires etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling Concertina Coil Fencing of any type and description including Barbed Wire, Running Bars, Straining Wires etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F PVC Coated Chain Link MS Galvanised Fencing Mesh of size 50 mm X 50mm, 4mm dia wire with Zinc coating of 275mm GSM and with minimum 1.5 mm thick PVC Coating [Total thickness of final PVC Coated wire is 5.50mm dia] and of weight not less than 4.0 KG / Sq.m including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, MS Flat Iron etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and as directed. Note: MS Bar, MS Flat & MS Bolts are measured and paid separately under respective items of this BoQ.

Dismantling of Wrought or Mild Steel Work of any description not otherwise specifically provided for by means of gas cutting without disturbing concrete surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 KG of cement per Sq.m area complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work confirming to Fe - 290, Grade E-165, as in framed work such as Grills, Gratings, Ladders etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed Guard Bars, Barred Iron Doors, Ladders, framed Balusters, Walk Ways, Railings, framework of Water Tanks and similar work complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work confirming to Fe - 290, Grade E-165 as in Hand Rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for Balusters Running Bars, for Doors, Balusters, Nosing to Steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc, Wind Ties for roof including securing bolts, Posts and Struts in Fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, bending to shape, notching for wire, drilling holes or as in flat iron fillets [for securing wire mesh and barbed wire etc] including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work complete all as specified and directed.

S & F MS Round bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape and binding with MS wire as in Running Bars for Chain Link / Barber Wire Fencing complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MS Machine made Screw Bolts [Galvanised] with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed other or screwed both ends, fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut not exceeding 5 cm long, dia of neck exceeding 11 mm but not exceeding 15 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.50 m in depth and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8, Type D–2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Foundation, Fillings, Mass concrete, Footings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4, Type B–1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Foundation, Fillings, Mass concrete, Footings etc including necessary formwork wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Forming Contraction [Dummy] joints 30mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with Sealing Compound Grade-A complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Providing Precast Cement Concrete Solid Block Masonry with Solid Blocks exceeding 100mm width of PCC 1:3:6, Type – C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate set in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down Cement Plaster of any description on brick or stone walls or concrete surfaces etc including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering to brick / concrete surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of Cement Based paint over a coat of Alkali Resistant Primer complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Galvanised, 2 Strand, Steel Barbed Wire 2.24mm dia, Barbed with 2mm dia bars at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: Each line of wire will be measured for payment.

M & L for Complete removal of rusting by scrubbing down with abrasive pads and removing old paint by paint removers or burning off by blow lamps and cleaning with scrapers, any number of coats of Steel Surfaces over 10cm width or girth and applying Two coats of Epoxy Anti-Corrosive Paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Two coats of Epoxy Anti-Corrosive Paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new Steel Surfaces over 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Two coats of Epoxy Anti-Corrosive Paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new Steel Surfaces not exceeding 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

S & F Pyramid type Concertina Coil Fencing with Six Runs of High Tensile Stainless Steel Concertina Coil of 1050mm dia Concertina Coil in Three Layers complete all as shown on Drawings and comprising of the following specifications complete all as specified and as directed: [a] Base Frame shall be made of ISMC 100 X 50 X 5mm, Three members equally placed along the length of the fencing and fixed to PCC Flooring / Foundation with suitable arrangement to accommodate and support Three Rows of Concertina Coil and Vertical Frame / Support system consisting of Three Vertical members and One Horizontal Tie member and shall be made of ISA 75 X 75 X 6mm and fixed perpendicular to Base Channel with Long Mushroom Head Bolt with Security Nut and Washer @ 5.00 m Centre to Centre complete all as shown in drawing and as per Manufacturer’s instructions. [b] All Rolled Mild Steel sections shall be conforming to IS – 808 and duly Hot Dip Galvanised as per IS – 4759 with minimum 360 GSM, Uniformity of Coating shall be as per IS – 2629, Adhesion of Coating shall be as per IS – 6745 / IS – 2629 and subsequently Thermoplastic Powder Coated with a minimum coating thickness of 250 Micron using Powder of Make "Axalta - Plascoat PPA 571 ES", of Green Colour [RAL 6005]. [c] Powder Coating shall be carried out by Authorised Applicator of Axalta [Plascoat], Coating Standard shall be as per EN 10245-1 / IS – 13871. Thermoplastic Powder Coating shall withstand 1440 Hours of Salt Spray Test. [Type Test Certificate shall be submitted by the Contractor before procurement of the material]

[d] Concertina Coil shall be Razor Sharp Punched Tape and made from High Tensile Stainless Steel [Grade AISI 304] Spring Core Wire of 2.5±0.05mm dia, having Tensile Strength of 1400 – 1500 N/Sq.mm, 1050mm dia, 56 Loops, 5 No. of Clips / Loop, Openable Length of 5 Metres and of Weight 19±5% KG / Coil, with Ratchet Winder, Hog Ring and having Tear Blade [TBBT] Barbs made of High Tensile Stainless Steel [Grade AISI 316] of Barb Length 30±1mm, Barb Width 16±0.05mm, Barb Thickness 0.50±0.02mm, Pitch between Two Barbs 50±1mm and fixed with 6/9 horizontal RBT [Reinforced Barbed Tape] Wire, Stud tied with Stainless Steel Staples and Stainless Steel Clips to retain in Horizontal position by providing 4mm dia Stainless Steel Wire [Grade AISI 304] as in Straining Wire as shown on drawing including necessary Stainless Steel Bolts and Nuts complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of 4mm dia Stainless Steel Horizontal Straining Wire [Grade AISI 304] and Hot Dip Galvanised and Thermoplastic Powder Coated Rolled Mild Steel Framework. Measurement shall be made for stretched length.

S & F Pyramid type Concertina Coil Fencing with Six Runs of High Tensile Stainless Steel Concertina Coil of 1050mm dia in Three Layers complete all as shown on Drawings and comprising of the following specifications complete all as specified and as directed: [a] Vertical Frame / Support system consisting of Three Vertical members and One Horizontal Tie member made of ISA 50 X 50 X 5mm equally placed along the length of the fencing @ 5.00 m Centre to Centre and fixed to PCC Flooring / Foundation with suitable arrangement to accommodate and support Three Rows of Concertina Coil. Vertical Member shall be embedded in to PCC Foundation to a depth not less than 400mm and shall be provided with 10mm dia, 200mm long Anchor Rod at the bottom embedded portion complete all as shown in drawing and as per Manufacturer’s instructions. [b] All Rolled Mild Steel sections shall be conforming to IS – 808 and duly Hot Dip Galvanised as per IS – 4759 with minimum 360 GSM, Uniformity of Coating shall be as per IS – 2629, Adhesion of Coating shall be as per IS – 6745 / IS – 2629 and subsequently Thermoplastic Powder Coated with a minimum coating thickness of 250 Micron using Powder of Make "Axalta - Plascoat PPA 571 ES", of Green Colour [RAL 6005]. Note: PCC Bed Plates / PCC Grouting shall be measured and paid separately under respective Items of this BoQ. Rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of cost of 4mm dia Stainless Steel Horizontal Straining Wire [Grade AISI 304] and Hot Dip Galvanised and Thermoplastic Powder Coated Rolled Mild Steel Framework.
