Material & labour for dismantling & descaling of solar water heater panel, repair of copper tube leakage with welding/brazing, cleaning by chemical solution in side circulation and re-assembling the same, cleaning the flat plate solar panel with glass cleaner solution including checking, servicing and testing the solar water heating system complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) D-scaling solution and Glass cleaner solution will be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ. (ii) Copper tube shall be measured and paid separately.

S&F in repair aluminium foil rapping on solar panel connecting pipe lines as per existing size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement of 1.02mm thick copper tube of size 5/8" inches duly insulated complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement of 0.91mm thick copper tube of size 1/2" inches duly insulated complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair solar collector glass plate suitable for 100 to 1000 Litres capacity of existing solar water system duly fixed on existing system complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair insulation suitable for filling inside of solar tank and its connecting pipe lines complete as per existing size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair rubber hoses pipes 20mm dia ,as per existing size for insulation complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair hot water storage tank 100 litre capacity made out of 22 SWG thick stainless steel (grade 304) with glass wool insulated 40 mm thick with aluminium cladding solar panel complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Sl item No 1 to 22 : (i) The repairs to existing solar water heater system shall be carried out through authorised dealers/distributors of solar panels. (ii) The flat plate collector of size and capacity as specified in BOQ shall be procured from the original manufacturer of Solar provided at site. Purchase vouchers of the same shall be verified by Engr-in-Charge before providing the plate collector at site. The replacement of plate collector shall be carried out by mechanic of original manufacturer of solar to avoid any damage to the entire solar system. (iii) Stainless steel water tanks for hot water shall be procured directly from the existing original manufacturers/authorized dealers of solar and purchase vouchers of steel water tanks shall be submitted before claiming payment against steel water tanks. Test certificates of steel water tanks shall be obtained from the manufactures/authorized distributions along with purchase vouchers. (iv) Insulation to steel water tanks and solar panels shall be carried out through manufacturer of solar or their authorized dealers.

Supply, fabricate and fixing in repair mild steel work conforming to Fe-290, E-165 as in framed grills, gratings, framed guard bars, ladder, framework of valve pit cover, water tanks etc or similar work as ordered and fabricated from MS rolled section of any size and shape complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair sub main wiring with PVC insulated cable copper conductor FRLS two single core 2.5 Sqmm drawn through Existing or new PVC rigid non metallic conduit including earth continuity FRLS copper conductor 2.5 Sqmm PVC insulated with green insulation complete all as specified and directed. Note : New PVC conduit shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L in repairs sub main wiring with PVC insulated cable copper conductor FRLS two single core 4 Sqmm drawn through Existing or new PVC rigid non metallic conduit including earth continuity FRLS copper conductor 4 Sqmm PVC insulated with green insulation complete all as specified and directed. Note : New PVC conduit shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L in repair PVC rigid non metallic conduit, fire proof, medium grade, ISI mark, 25mm dia surface or concealed including conduit accessories such as tee, elbow ,bend junction box complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for installation, commissioning and testing Junction boxes made of Thermoplastic Polycaronate, the minimum size of Joint boxes shall be 205 x 255 x 112 mm. The Connecting Box Should be IP 66/67 ( IEC 60529 ) Thermoplastic PC weatherproof with multi level knockouts on four Side for cable Entry in different sizes . Lid fasteners shall not have screws but shall be with quarter turn locking knobs , which is well visible ( open – locked), and they will be sealable without any accessories. The box should be UV resistant in accordance with 61439-1, clause No 8.4.4. The joint box shall be weather proof, rainwater proof, temperature resistant, connecting box as per IEC 60670-22 and IEC 60695-2-11, flame retardant & self extinguishing. The box shall have elongated holes inside and suitable brackets for outdoor fixing for wall/pole mounting provision. The Box shall be with 18 Nos Terminals suitable for min 4 Sq.mm wire. Contractor shall provide suitable Glands IP 66 as per Box Color with Terminals and Cable Glands with nut bolts replacement complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as spceified and directed.

S&F in repair nitrle rubber insulation 25mm dia ,as per existing size for insulation, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only insulation LT tape of size normal width 20mm, length 25 metre and thickness 0.125mm, complete all as specified and directed.
