Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundations, manholes, etc. or for laying pipes, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in, including, spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm deep as in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated materials (any type of soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point including spreading in low lying area and leveling all as specified

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) as in cover slabs, removing debris from site and making good the disturbed surfaces / portions in existing specifications complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removal of debris complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition of brickwork or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and disposing off complete all as specified and as directed

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster, any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for keys, scubbing down with water, etc. including all necessary scaffolding as required and rubbishing off the premises, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for dismantling rusted / damaged fencing of any size / type and disposing off complete all as specified and as directed

Demolition and breaking up 150mm bore drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar and disposing off outside MD land including all cartage, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for brickwork with sub-class B bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed

--ditto--all as per serial item No. 11 but except bricks Note: Serviceable bricks obtained from demolition shall be used under this item

M&L rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) on fair surfaces of PCC block / brick masonry wall / concrete surfaces, roof, etc. finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (type C-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in surface channels, drains, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (type C-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregate for bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 150mm dia drain pipes complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (type D-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, bed to drains, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in cover slab for man holes, drains, soak wells, landings, and similar articles, set in CM 1:4 with plain faces including necessary formwork and chamfering, weathering, throating, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for plain cement concrete type B-0,1:2:4 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates) as in padding, filling of depressions, coping, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for 75mm thick plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (type C-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregate in hard standing, paths and similar works complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for 75mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (type D-2) using 40mm graded stone aggregates as in sub-bases, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for screed bed 15mm thick, in cement mortar (1:6) roughened for receiving floor finish complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for forming contraction (dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound grade-B complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for formwork to sides of walls of drains and similar works including edges, for fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed

Extra for forming fair finished drains or channels 30cm inner girth in cement concrete including forms, moulds, mitred / stopped ends, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for mild steel TMT bars grade Fe-500D, 10mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed

S&F angle iron posts & struts in fencing including cutting top to shape, drilling holes, notching for wire including all necessary drilling bolts or rivetting & similar works conforming to Fe-290 grade E-165 (for securing chain link fencing, etc.) with 40x4mm flat iron fillets complete all as specified and as directed

S&F mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other or screwed at both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, not exceeding 5cm in length, dia of neck & shank 10mm complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips as in supports to chain link fencing complete all as specified and as directed

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type complete all as specified and as directed Note: Weight of chain link shall be ascertained by a BOO ordered by the GE

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provisioning of binding wire complete all as specified and as directed

Supplying and laying 150mm (internal dia) salt-glazed stoneware drain pipes laid in trenches and jointed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for rough cast plaster including 15mm thick rendering in CM 1:3 on brickwall or concrete surfaces, all as specified in SSR Part-I clause 14.22 complete all as specified and as directed Note: Rough cast finish shall be made as under: (i) After applying the under coat of cement mortar 1:3 and while it is still in plasic state the rough cast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel / aggegates (of size between 6 to 12mm depending on the texture required) mixed with course sand and cement in the ratio of 1:1:1 shall be applied and finished even (ii) The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregates are thoroughly covered

M&L preparation of new plastered / unplastered and applying three coats of white wash on walls, etc. complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparing of new steel surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (tint as approved) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for preparing of new steel surfaces of any description not exceeding 10cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in different tint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for chequered cement concrete tiles 300x300x25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry with grey cement mixed with piment to match colour of tile as in floors complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for laying pre-polished 60mm thick rubber moulded, double glossy, coloured, designer, interlocking tiles made of M-40 design mix concrete of approved design, shape and size with the crushing strength not less than 350kg/sqcm conforming to IS 15658-2006, laid over and including 25mm thick (compacted thickness) sand bed (rate shall be inlcuded) complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for cleaning / de-sludging of manholes of any dia using mechanical pumps, diesel driven, with fuel, operator, etc. and all necessary tools / plants including loading and carting off the drawn sludge, waste material, scum, spoil water, etc. outside MD land through designated sludge carriers / bio tanks and removing any blockages and flushing entire stretch with water to check functionality complete all as specified and as directed at the following depths:

depth not exceeding 1.5m

depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m

M&L for cleaning / de-sludging of sewer lines, 150mm dia using mechanical pumps, diesel driven, with fuel, operator, etc. and all necessary tools / plants including loading and carting off the drawn sludge, waste material, scum, spoil water, etc. outside MD land through designated sludge carriers / bio tanks and flushing entire stretch with water to check functionality complete all as specified and as directed

Notes for serial item Nos. 38 to 41: (i) All necessary precautions and all safety measures as per Municipality rules / relevant regulatory guidelines shall be taken by the Contractor in employing his mechnical means and workmen. No person shall be employed in direct contact with sewage wells, etc. in foul conditions to prevent any health hazards, etc. only mechanical means shall be used (ii) The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any mishap to any of labourer deployed and to equipment/machinery/plants/material, etc. brought at site for work and any lapses whatsoever during the execution, (iii) The work shall be executed under the supervision of highly skilled tradesman / supervisor, (iv) The rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of the above aspects, and no claims whatsover shall be entertainable at later stages and or during execution
