Soil Investigation Vehicle Parking Shed in OTM Complex at Vijay Nagar, Hutbay

M & L for carrying out the soil investigation in respect of the soil investigation to cover field work and laboratory studies includes :- (a) Mobilisation of plants equipments including men and materials required at site of soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as required and demobilization of plants and equipments on completion of work etc complete (which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing). - (Job-01) (b) Boring 150mm dia bore holes up to 15 metre depth through following type of strata (i) Any type of soil - (RM-07) (ii) Soft rock - (RM-02) (iii) Hard rock - (RM-01) (c) Carrying out Standard Penetration Test (SPT) including collection of distrubed soil samples in bore holes of every one meter depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data.- (Each-07) (d) Collection of undistrubed soil sample at every 3m intervals or at any change of strata in 100mm bore thin walled tube including waxing, sealing, packing transporting to the lab. - (Each-04). (e) Conducting necessary test on all collected samples which includes the determination of :- (Job-01) (i) Atterberg limits (ii) Natural moisture content (iii) Wet and dry density, unit weight (iv) Soil/Particle size ( soil grain size)

(v) Consolidation test including pre consolidation pressure. (vi) Tri-axial shear test (vii) Shrinkage limit (viii) Specific gravity test (ix) Direct shear test ( C & O determination) (x) Unconfined compression test (xi) Crushing shrenth of rock samples (xii) Free swell index (xiii) Shrinkage limit (xiii) Soluble salt content (Sulphate, Chloride and PH content) (e) Excavation of trial pit up to 3. depth having size 1.2x1.2x3.0m for collecting 3 Nos of UDS sample including the tests:-(Job-01) (i) Atterberg limits (ii) Natural moisture content (iii) Wet and dry density (iv) Pariticle (Soil grain size) (v) Tri-axial shear test and direct shear test ( C and O determination) (vi) Specific Gravity (vii) Free Swelling Index (f) Compilation of data and submission of report in 04 copies ( as per NBC 2016, Part 6, section 2, Para 3.5) - (Job-01) (i) containing scope of investigation (ii) method of drilling bore hole (iii) sampling of bore hole

(iv) visual description of soil sample (v) ground levels along with ground water table level (vi) Test results ( both laboratory and field) including graphs (vii) Photographs of quipment used and samples collected with descriptions (viii) photographs of laboratory test samples after testing (ix) general observations of vicinity ( Streams, foundation system adopted etc) (x) longitudinal and transverse section profiles of substrata (xi) analysis of field and laboratory test results (xii) calculations for arriving at allowable bearing capacity as per IS and pile capacities at suitable depth (xiii) recommendation for suitability of foundation
