Notes applicable for Item No 1 and 2:
1)Murrum/gravel shall be procured from Government approved quarries only. 2) The contractor has to mandidatorily submit royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for murrum/gravel along with RA bills. 3) Sample shall be submitted and tested if required for approval of BARC (V) before procurement of gravel 4) Stacking of the Murrum/gravel shall be done at locations identified by BARC (V) inside of BARC main campus site
Construction of Embankment/ subgrade/ earthen shoulders/plinth filling with approved quality murrum/gravel brought from outside sources including Supply of all materials, in the area wherever specified including breaking clods, storing, transportation, watering, with compacted thickness of each layer not exceeding 250mm with suitable vibratory roller/200mm thick with 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller to achieve 95% proctor density for embankment & 97% proctor density for Subgrade and Shoulders at optimum moisture content, all leads and lifts, bailing/ pumping out of water to keep site dry while backfilling. Cost shall include conveyance of all materials, labour, machinery, seigniorage charges etc. complete. The rate quoted shall include loading, unloading, hire and fuel charges for tools and plants and other incidental charges etc. The rate quoted shall also include compaction of original ground by vibratory power road roller, complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge.
Supply of approved quality murrum/gravel brought from outside sources and stacking the same at the locations identified by BARC(V) inside the main campus. Shape and height of the stack shall be as directed by Engineer In-charge. Net quantity will be arrived after deducting 20% voids from the measured stacked gravel and payment shall be made accordingly. Gravel/murum shall meet the requirements of the specification for filling as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). Cost shall include conveyance of all materials, labour, machinery, seigniorage charges etc. complete. The rate quoted shall include loading, unloading, hire and fuel charges for tools and plants and other incidental charges etc complete the work as per Technical specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
