DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Dismantling of post or strut (steel or RCC), any section including taking out embedded portion embeded in natural ground and making good the disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of post or strut (steel or RCC), any section including taking out embedded portion embeded in PCC and making good the disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc. 0.50 Cum, getting out, returning, filling and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around in layers not exc. 25cm watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50m and making good surface as in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing plain cement concrete, type C-2, 1:3:6 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing pre-cast reinforced cement concrete (RCC) 1:2:4 type B-1, (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in fencing posts, struts etc., average sectional area exc. 100 Sqcm but not exc. 250 Sqcm with or without chamfered angles and flat, splayed, rounded or mitred tops including neccesary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per item No 6 but 6 to 8mm dia as in stirrups, spacers, binders etc.

M & L for mild steel round bars 5 mm dia and over up to and including 10 mm dia as in stirrups, spacer and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of barbed wire fencing, any type complete all as specified and directed.

S & F galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75mm to 100mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, straining bolts at ends, staples or steel pins etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Ditto all as per above item No 10 but except barbed wire. Note: Old barbed wire obtained from dismantling shall be used under this item as per direction of engineer-in-charge.

S & F of mild steel work in post and struts for fencing, flat iron fillets and the like including necessary cutting, drilling holes, notching etc. as required conforming to Fe-290 Grade E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of flat iron fitted for securing chain link fencing and other similar small steel article confirming to Fe-290 Grade E-165 with and including necessary nut-bolts, washers, screws etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square head at one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends, each screwed ends to be fitted with washer and hexagonal or square nut, exc. 5cm and not exc. 10cm long and 11 to 15mm dia of shank complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel round bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of fencing wire mesh any type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing, any size or type complete all as specified and directed. Note: Weight of chain link fencing shall be mesaured by BOO.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire

M & L for preparation of newly plastered or un-plastered surfaces of walls/fencing post and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of steel surfaces not exc. 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete un reinforced in Ground floor & paving n.exc 15cm thickness and removal of debris from site complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5M in depth for foundation, poles etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc. 25cm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for hard core of gauge not exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface using broken stone or boulders complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing 40mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm thick graded crushed stone aggregate) as in floor below tiles cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 100mm thickness M-50 Grade over 25mm thick sand filling cluding watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1. Rate of sand filling shall be deemed to inclusive in quoted unit rate. 2. Compacted/Punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

S & F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length laid in floor for weep holes omplete all as specified and directed.

M & L for chequered cement concrete tiles of size 300X300X25 mm thick with grey cement and pigment set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface of tile as in floor, over and including 15mm thick screed bed in 1:6 CM complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing 75mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm grade stone aggregate) as in sub floor, sub base of floor complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 70mm thick cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub floor of floor finishes, finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonary, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles and block walling removing debris to outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks straight or curved on plan exc. 6.00 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces with cement mortar 1:6 finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed.
