Replacement of damaged hume pipe between cooling tower to chlorination channel in ETP at HWPM

Earth work in All kinds of soils excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundations, trenches and drains upto 1.5m depth including shoring, dewatering, backfilling in layers not exceeding 20cm depth, disposal of surplus earth, lead upto 2km and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed complete as per specifications and as directed by EIC.

Same as above but exceeding 1.5M depth up to 3.0M

Same as above but exceeding 3.0 M depth up to 4.5 M

Dismantling and removing the NP2/NP3 pipes of dia 1200mm from the excavated areas in trenches having a depth up to 5.00M including taking out the pipes manually/ by mechanical means and disposing the pipes/pipe debris upto a lead of 2.00KM complete as per specifications and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: It may be noted that, while dismantling/removing the existing damaged hume pipes utmost care shall be taken for the end pipes which are embeded in the concrete by chipping manually without distrubing the embeded poriton of the pipe in the concrete.

Demolishing cement concrete Nominal concrete 1:2:4 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge

Providing and laying Plain cement concrete of 1:2:4 [1 cement, 2sand, 4 stone aggregate] grade, using 20mm and down gauge crushed stone aggregate of approved quality in foundation and plinth, under floors, pavements, footings, pedestals etc. including centering and shuttering, spreading, leveling, ramming, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Non Pressure NP-3 class (Medium duty) R.C.C. pipes conforming to IS-458 of 1200mm diameter (laying by manual/mechanical means) including collars/spigot jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying Reinforced cement concrete of grade 1:1.5:3[1cement, 1.5 sand, 3 stone aggregate] ( using 20mm and down graded stone aggregate of approved quality in coller joints, foundation and plinth, walls, floors, footings, pedestals etc. including the cost of centering, shuttering, leveling, ramming, consolidation, curing, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer.(CEMENT CONTENT CONSIDERED FOR THIS ITEM IS 400KG/M3 )

Providing and applying the hume pipe joints by sealing using "SIKADUR 31" in two parts of SIKA make or equivalent (the same has to be approved by the Engineer) from inside all round the joint of the NP3 hume pipe of 1200mm diameter of required depth/width complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Payment will be made based on the actual consumption of the chemcials used in the works)

Providing and applying Epoxy injection grout of "CONBEXTRA" EP 10 of FOSROC make or equivalent (the same has to be approved by the Engineer) in concrete/RCC work in the required proportion as recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/ masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including fixing of 8mm dia PVC nipples & cutting of nipples after the curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.
