Mobilization and Demobilization of Plant & Personal at the site

Carryingout the site Survey(Traverse & Contour) Including taking Spot Levels at 10M Centers or at closer intervals as necessary in both directions and setting up base lines, grid lines , bench marks as specified on both sides of the Conveyor belt.

Carryingout the detailed Geological Surface Mapping at Vulnerable areas of the Conveyor belt on both left and right sides.

Exploratory drilling of bore holes down to required depth, drilling of 100mm dia boreholes in all types of solis except hard rock. a) 0 to 15m

Drilling of NX size boreholes (75mm dia) in all types of hard rock. a) 0 to 15m

Takingout 100mm dia & 450mm long Undisturbed soil Samples from boreholes including provision of airtight containers for packing, labeling including transportation of samples to the laboratory.

Takingout 100mm dia & 450mm long disturbed soil Samples from boreholes including provision of airtight containers for packing, labeling including transportation of samples to the laboratory.

Conducting SPT as per IS 2131 at approx. 1.5m intervals in boreholes and collection of SPT samples.

Conducting the following Laboratory tests on collected soli/rock samples as per relevant IS code. a)Atterberg limits

b) Water absorption & Porosity

c) Brazilian tensile tests

d) Permeability tests

e) Shear strength tests.

Carrying out slope stability analysis by finite element method & numerical analysis at deep cut & area showen by E-I-C, showing creep, slip & design of instability. The report of analysis should be submitted in threee copies in soft & hard copy.

Working out a detailed scheme for slope protection, slop stabilsation & recomanding for providing remedial measure i. e. slop correction/retaining wall/ geo grid/ turf, sub surface drainage, covered drain , drain training & other protection works required based on field & laboratry investigation report & backed by design calculation, drawing, technical write up including providing BOQ, budgetry costing & technical specification of proposed stabilisation measure/scheme & submission to E-I-C in ther form of draft report for acceptence, followed by submission of final report in requsite copies after incorporation of any observation given by NALCO.

Site visit of the experts of suggested measure during execution of the slope protection measure by another agency
