The top water container should be preferably cylindrical in shape, shaft for support shall not be permitted. The foundation, columns bearing etc. shall be designed and constructed so as to have a provision for the construction of a single storey building between the G.L. bracing and first bracing with RCC roof slab and bricks walls for store accommodation. The Position of the bracing shall be so fixed that the height of floor is approximately 3.50 M and the top of ground level bracing is 0.60 M above general ground level to provide for plinth. Bearing capacity of soil shall be conducted by the contractor and approved from Chief Engineer Design, Inspection & Quality Control (DIQC) Department Jammu at his own cost and nothing extra shall be paid to him for the same ( Using M-25 design mix concrete)
