Notes for item No. 15.00:- (i) The tenderer/ Contractor shall carryout testing of RAW water from a NABL accredited Lab and based on the report shall design the RO Plant. Design details shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for approval within 60 days of acceptance of tender. (ii) All work of RO Plant Machinery shall be carried out by OEM only and MoU to this effect to be submitted within 30 days from the date of commencement of work. (iii) The Contractor shall submitted flow chart/ flow diagram for working system of RO Plant before commencement of the work to Engineer –in- Charge. (iv) All civil works required for RO Plant i.e. Foundations, earthwork, PCC work are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (v) After installation/ completion of work, contractor shall carryout testing of treated water from a accredited NABL Lab and submit report. Payment of the RO plant shall be allowed after successful testing & commissioning of the RO plant. (vi) The contractor is required to carry out test of treated water on monthly basis from NABL lab to ascertain suitability of drinking water as per IS- 10500 up to Defect Liability Period. Rate for the same is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (vii) Any spare parts / consumables required for running of RO Plant within defect liability period shall be arrange by contractor without any cost to department.

Notes for item No. 16 & 17 1. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include following items :- (a) Repairs/replacement of any of the components of RO plant, control panel, electrical wiring etc. (b) Servicing of pump sets, rewinding of motors, doisers pumps washing & top up of sand gravel media, cleaning/replacing activated carbon, cleaning of feeder water sumps as required to avoid increased conteplation in raw water. (c) Supply and filling of RO water treatment chemicals to achieve water quality confirming to IS 150500 2. (i) All operators shall be ITI qualified and necessary certificate shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge for varification before employing as operator. (ii) Operator will also Assist MES Departmental employees such as electrician/FGM deployed to carryout maintenance work at Naval Base area as directed at site without any extra cost to department. (iii) All installation shall be kept neat and clean and all necessary documents shall be available upto date and available at installation. (iv) No unauthorised entry of personals other than operator on duty shall be allowed to enter in the installation unless otherwise instructed by the Engr-in-Charge. (v) If the contractor is found non maintaining of log sheets, Rs. 20/- per shift for non maintaining of log sheet shall be deducted from the account due to contractor. (vi) The operator employed shall be well versed with operation of RO plants and to be capable to attend and repair minor defects of RO plants and LT panels, replacement of fuses etc. (vii) All tools, measuring instruments required for maintenance of RO plant and panel shall be available at installation safety equipment required for smooth operation of electrical installation and operator as per IS shall be ensured by the contractor for safety of operator and any electric accident occured due to non adherence of safety measures or lakh of knowledge of operator shall be entirely rest with contractor. 3. A penality of double of the quoted rate shall be levied any failure of plant being of basic necessity services to human.
