Soil investigation to carryout sub soil exploration by conducting field test. Laboratory investigation and testing for recommending the suitable type of foundation with revelent parameter applicable to the recommended type of foundation for 2 bore hole each of 24 mtr depth. The supporting details of field and laboratory test in accordance relevent Indian standard i.e 1892, 1904,6602,1490,2720 and 8009 and SP 38 will be submitted along with recommedation. The sub soil exploration will consist of :- (a) Conducting boring for acertaing soil profile physical properties of the soil and recording bore log as IS 1892. Each bore hole of 24 mtr depth from ground level and each bore is of 150 mm dia, lower and actual depth may vary as per direction of GE (I) depanding upon soil profile. (b) Conducting of SPT as per IS 2131. The investigation shall be made at every 1.5 mtr of change of starta which ever occur earlier. The undisturbed soil sample shall be obtained at every 2.5 mtr as in such a manner that moisture content and structure do ot get altered and also to be collected at every change of strata and as necessary for recmommended type of foundation Note:- If hard soil strata not found up to 24 mtr depth then more depth is required for getting hard soil strata, then the rate of drilling test for bore holes as per applicable rate and payment shall be measured and paid as per quoted rate (Calculated in per RM) for drilling holes for found hard soil strata complete all as specified and directed.
