Carrying out /Making in-field measurement/testing of intensity , beam spread/coverage, orientation , chromaticity, luminous factor, setting of field alignment,toeing angle,elevation angle as per the requirement of site & ICAO/Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR) Section-4 Aerodrome standard & licensing series ‘B’ Part-I, for inset/ elevated type approach , runway edge , runway end , threshold , PAPI airfields ground lights , by using vehicle mounted Mobile Testing Equipment system / frame Reader, submission of test reports including supply and replacement of defective components found while photometry, like filter/prism, lens (inner & outer), reflector, lamp holder, lamp etc. and again Carrying out /Making in-field measurement of intensity, beam spread/coverage, orientation , chromaticity, luminous factor, setting of field alignment,toeing angle,elevation angle of airfields ground lights after replacement of defective components, etc. complete as required as per technical specification. Note :- 1) Please refer detailed inventory mentioned in Annexure-I before quoting the price 2) While photometry If inventory varies within +/- 10% of the total inventory, neither any recovery nor additional payment shall be made on account of this variation however if variation is beyond +/- 10% of the total inventory then quoated amount shall be increased / decreased in proportion to the variation beyond 10% of the inventory (Inventory considered in the tender document). 3) Before photometry all the air field ground lights shall be cleaned properly by the agency so that accumulated dust / dirt may not affect the result of photometry (included in the present scope of work) 4) While photometry if maintenance factor (Candella) is found less than 70% then appropriate corrective action such as replacement of defective components like filter, lens (inner & outer), reflector, lamp holder, lamp etc., shall be taken by the agency to maintain the minimum accepted maintenance factor of 70% (included in the present scope of work). 5) The burnout lamps and holder between the time period (Six Months) of two testing/measurement shall be replaced by AAI, However if other replaced components like filter, lens (inner & outer), reflector, holder are found defective within this period then all these shall be replaced by the agency and accordingly agency will have to keep a buffer of these spares (at least 15 % of the total inventory installed at the site so that on receipt of complaint maintenance team can replace the defective components using this buffer stocks.) 6) Any penalty imposed by DGCA during audit due to non-compliance of color, Candala, Coverage of above GLF fixtures in respect of photometry / chromaticity as per DGCA CAR, shall be transferred to the agency 7) Defects liability period for the replaced spares shall be 1 year except lamps and holders
