Steel Plate replacement ( Frame O to 70) (i) Bottom Plate (ii) Side Plate (iii) Aft & Front Plate (iv) Main Deck Plate (v) Super Structure deck (1 & 2 ) plate (vi) weather deck (vii) Machinery Space 1. All plate to be checked for thickness via ultrasonic gauging technique and same to be degutted, cropped and replaced, as per the IRS class rule. Engine room entrance top roof require to be repaired if damaged. 2. Engine room ventilation trouncing stbd side DG set damage required to be repair. Hull construction- The vessel is of welded type. The main scantlings for the vessel confirm to the requirements of Inland Rules of Indian Register of Shipping. Material & Scantling Material of hull construction is mild steel conforming to LR Grade A or equivalent. All materials used for construction are of good shipbuilding quality and free from defects as per the IRS class rules. The bottom and side shell thickness is 8-10% over and above the requirements specified by class considering the extended docking period for the vessel. Preparation of steel surfaces : All plates and sections are blast cleaned to SA 2.5 prior to painting. Surface is cleaned free from mill scales, grease, oil, moisture, salt etc. Surface is coated after blasting with one coat primer as soon as possible. The colour of finishing are decided in consultation with the owner including recommendation of IRS. Rain guard appx 4 inch height & width steel plate at all around main deck, whether deck & monkey deck to be fitted.

Propulsion Engine (i) Port side main engine (ii) STBD side main engine (iii) U-J cross and coupling (i) Both main engines required to be carried out E-Check repair accordingly as per manual with genuine spare parts. (ii)Testing of cylinder, liner, Crank shaft, connecting rod and all connected fitments including Electrical, gear box with U J cross , coupling system. (iii)Radiators required to be renewal.( Radiator opening door required to be repair as per requirement at the time of dry dock. As on date Main engine has covered following running Hrs. Total Run Hrs- Port Side-6636 Hrs, STBD Side-6789 Hrs Make- Cummins, Model-NTA 855 M-Big Cam

HRP System ( 2 Nos) (i) 360 degree rotation (ii) HRP gear box repair (iii) Electric panel wiring of wheelhouse (iv) Hydraulic pump of HRP System (A) Both HRP Units and all connected equipment’s require to be repaired accordingly as per manual with genuine spare parts. (B) Further electronic panel (PCB) alongside main engine to be checked for its functionality. (C)Servicing of gear unit to be done after filling of new Hydraulic and Gear oil to made operational.

Diesel Generator Set (Port &Stbd) (i) Diesel engine (Port &Stbd) (ii) Repair of main switch board & circuit breaker (iii) Servicing of alternator Both DG Sets required to be carried out E-Check repair and accordingly as per manual with genuine spare parts. Servicing of alternator, power output, Frequency, voltage of alternator to be checked and servicing also required to be carried to made operational both the DG Sets. As on date DG Sets has covered following running Hrs. Total Run Hrs Port Side-30613 Hrs STBD Side-25619 Hrs

Air Condition system (i) Existing 7 nos Split ACs are required to be serviced/repaired. (ii) Only 02 nos – 2 Ton ACs (100% copper with 5 star ) required to be installed at Jawan accommodation..

Mast Repair Work (i) Main mast bottom support in Members, brackets, arm repair. (ii) Antenna’s base (Radar, GPS, Navigation light, Flag post, search Light (iii) Electrical conduits. All navigational antenna’s foundation to be repair, provision/mechanism for foldable mast manually (hand operate gear) system to be installed. Further electrical cable conduit to be provided. If possible, then reduce the length of search light and other equipment fitted on monkey deck except navigation mast.

Navigation equipment’s (i) Radar ( (ii) Magnetic compass (iii) Echo sounder (iv) Barometer (v) Navigational lights (vi) GPS (vii) Ship flags All the navigational equipment’s to be serviced. Navigational lights to be made functional.(including mast light ) (i) Radar – Koden (ii) Magnetic compass- Raytheon (iii) Echo sounder - Koden (iv)Barometer- John Lilley & Gillie(Great Britain ) (v)GPS- Koden Navigation plotter – polishing and painting required.

Glass fittings & rubber packing (i) Windows of all cabins (ii) Wheel House wind screen (iii) Water tight Hatches (iv) Scuttles and doors Rubber gasket of water tight hatches, damaged scuttles glasses, doors windows to be replaced. Hatches opening retainer clips and locking to be renewed . 1. Fixed type windows of main deck cabins are required to be open type outer side. 2. Wheel house panel , electric board, all meters to be serviced.

Valve and pipelines. (i) Fresh water line (ii) Sewage water line (iii) Fuel line (iv) All sea chest/sea water line (v) Bilge system valve (vi) Over head tank lines (vii) Fire fighting lines (viii) Air vent pipe ,head & sounding Pipe (ix) Scuppers and discharge line (x) Galley drain pipe (a)All pipe lines cleaned and pressure tested , defective pipe be replaced. Valve should be overhauled as per class requirement as per recommendation of IRS . (b)Sewage tank and fresh water tank to be cleaned and painted. (c ) Alarm system, sewage pump, starter switch and electrical panel to be repaired as per IRS class rule.

Galley --(i)Galley floor tiles 13.9 Ft x 8 Ft ( 112 Sqft ) appx to be renewed. (ii)Steel platform and steel rake to be repaired and painted as per requirement. (iii)Cooking Coil- 4 Hot plat-3 KW, Greaser-01- (15 Ltr.), Basin-01, Chimney required to be renewed and made fully serviceable.

Davits and boat cradles—04 Nos (i) Davit wire (ii) Fast patrol boat stowage cradles 04 Nos boat davits are available having 1.5 ton lifting load capacity. Complete servicing of davits along with fitments (planetary gear, davit arm, electromagnetic brake, foundation, limit switches etc),and load bearing test during trials. Further FPB stowage cradles neoprene rubber covering to be replaced. Modification required to be carried in boat cradle to maintain the space management.

Provision of 03 no anchor on the ship , presently 02 nos anchor available on the ship, condition of 02 no anchor weight and Arm rest pin play to be check and replace if beyond permissible limit. One no new anchor to be provided aft side of the ship. Swivel assy should be good quality material of sufficient strength.

Painting work (i) Under water surface of hull (ii) All tanks (Internal/external) (iii) External hull and deck (iv) All machinery and equipment, fitments (A) De-rusting and copper slag blasting in respect of Srl No (i) & (iii) as per marine practice and for Srl No (ii) & (iv) manual cleaning to be carried . (B) Painting of all cabins, engines, decks mounting, fitments, equipment (pump, motor, on board external fitments) with proper marking and colour coding. Good quality marine grade paint should be used

(B)) Canvas fire hoses 05 nos 65 MM(dia) , Length – 15 Mtrs renewed as per recommendation of IRS. (C) Fire hydrant -05 /Jet spray Nozzle -05 Nos required to be serviced and MS Fire Boxes-05 Nos installed at Vessel is required to be replaced with fibre box to avoid rusting in later stage

Miscellaneous (External fitments) (i) Embarkation ladder ( 2 nos) be replaced.(ii) Various securing clamps be replaced. (iii) All smoke & heat detector ( 4 Nos) be made operational. (iv) MMG protection guard ( 05 Nos) be examined , repaired & painted. ( v) Servicing/calibration of petrol pump ( 01 No ) be carried out and Compartment also be repaired and painted. (vi) 20 Nos Canvas cover ( Water proof) for motors and electrical equipment’s exposed to open environment. (vii) Table , sofa, chairs of officer & Jawan dinning hall to be renewed. (x) RO ( 2 Nos) 25 ltr per hours capacity be provided. (xi) Refrigerator (03 nos) Double door as specified size be provided 250 Ltrs = 01 No, 90 Ltrs = 02 No (xii) Existing deep freeze ( 04 nos ) be replaced by providing 02 New 480 Ltrs. (xiv) Guardrail 400 feet (appx) in 03 Row pipe, chains 279 feet (appx) of MS renewed as per recommendation of IRS. (xv) Faucet and taps ( 21 Nos ) be replaced. (xvi) LED TV Jawan Dining hall = 01 No, (55 inch), & 04 Nos (24 inch) TV for 04 cabins having facility to connect USB, Mobile be provided. (xvii) Semi rotating double acting (aft) hand pump (04 Nos ) be replaced. (xviii) Ventilation system Machinery Room, Galley, Provision store, Sanitary spaces, Magazine, Kote , Bosun stores and all peak tank repair and made serviceable. (xix) All types of fasteners (i.e. nut and bolts). , 2.5 feet chain alongwith 18 nos tyres be replaced. (xx) Water Collar (01 No) be renewed. (xxi) Marine wall clock ( 08 Nos ) required to be installed in each cabins/stores of vessel (xxii) Revolving chair ( 01 No ) to be replaced (xxiii) Wiper and wind glass to be serviced

All tube light be replaced by LED lighting system and to be supported by step down transformer. 2. At least one emergency LED light must be installed at each cabin/galley/stores/dining hall/wheel house etc. all exhaust fans and blower required to be serviceable .

After completion of dry dock all equipment’s, machinery, tanks and fitment will be checked with requisite certificate wherever applicable. 2. Ship name and national flag of both side corroded, wasted to be required renewed . Note: - Approximate 50 Ton ± 05 Ton of steel plates may be required during dry dock repair for replacement of defective and pitted steel plates of FBOP Kamakhaya.
