Repairs/replacement of LT UG cable and connected misc accessories at Kannur under AGE (I) CANNANORE.

Excavating in trenches n.exc. 1.5m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for laying of LT UG cable, pipe, pole, stay etc and n exc 10sqm on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil including taking out and removal of old bricks laid over for protection of cable all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soil obtained from excavation all as directed

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance n exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level 1.5m above starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading in natuaral riddled soil as earth cushioning to cable by using IS sieve to separate the composite particle/roots etc and refilling in trenches and compacted in layers to form a solid bed covering to cable all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches burnt brick sub class B of old size for protection of UG cable laid flat and dry over the cable , perpendicular to the direction of cable all as specified and directed.

Laying only old bricks obtained from item No 1 here in before in trenches for protection of UG cable all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubing, 40mm bore light grade, galvanized, with all fittings required such as bends, Tees, elbows, sockets, fixing clamps etc for protection of cable/GI strip in road crossing/fixing on ploe, wall etc including removing old unserviceable pipe any size all as directed. Note : Excavation shall be measured and paid seperately.

All as above item No 8 but 80mm bore light grade, GI tubing etc all as directed. Note : Excavation shall be measured and paid seperately.

Taking out unserviceable UG PVC insulated cable, armoured or un armoured any size from trenches/GI tubing/on pole/on wall etc all as directed.

Supply and lay including fixing and connecting electrically and testing LT underground cable, XLPE insulated, , armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminum conductor multi-stranded 1100 volts grade, laid in trench, fixed on wall/pole drawn through pipe etc including provision of lugs & testing of following sizes complete all as specified and directed. (a) 2 core 16 sqmm Note : Excavation shall be measured and paid seperately. Quoted rate include of making connection to LT panel/feeder pillar box/junction box through suitable size aluminium lugs and cable glands.

Supply and replacing 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated aluminium conductor as service connections, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed in service connections suspended by insulating hangers not more than 1 metre apart including 4mm suspension wire, one twin core cable flat or circular stranded conductor of size 10sqmm 2core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing GI LT cable route indicaters of size 10 cm dia and 3mm thick plate welded with angle iron leg of 60 cm length duly embossed LT cable on plate including PCC 1:3:6 (C2) size, 15 x 15 x 20 cm foundation all as specified by Engineer -in-acaharge

M & L for Painting of concrete pole, by applying one coat of white paint after scraping / brushing and cleaning the Algae on pole and cross arms and a coat of white synthetic enamel painting to pole upto 1.5 mtr from ground level shall be painted by alternate layer of black and white enamel paint ( 30 cms apart) Pole Number shall be written on pole by black paint in yellow circle of 150mm dia. A coat of aluminium painting shall be done on Cross arm and bracing, nut, bolts and washers etc after prep of surfaces all as directed by Engr in charge.
