SCHEDULE 'A' PART- I Dismantling of existing old lift of 08 Passenger capacity serving upto G+4 floors at DSC Md Accn Bldg No 280 & 281 complete including car, guide rail, counter weight, drive machine with motor, control panels etc and depositing to MES store yard including making good the disturbed surfaces all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrically operated Passengers lift for 08 Passenger (544 Kg) capacity with a speed of 1.0 mtr/sec to serve ground floor and 04 upper floors (G+4), with microprocessor based operation and with simplex collective control with or without lift attendant and with variable voltage, variable frequency system with two speed automatic control drive, with elevator sliding car door and landing door made of stainless steel, car cage made out of minimum 1 mm thick stainless steel, vandal proof (Scratch free, hair line finish) as well as cage roof covered with stainless steel sheets of suitable size cage floor made of granite floor minimum 10mm thick of approved colour, automatic car levelling micro stroke push button operation and floor indicators in car in all landings, fire man switch, emergency lamp, alarm push button etc with and including automatic rescue device (ARD) battery operated with and including maintenance free battery of suitable capacity and battery charger with optimum direction section in start operation requiring no human intervention, 3D infra red sensor in full length of doors and built in floor announcing system with 05 Nos handset one each in car, machine room and ground floor and over load indicator with suitable for three phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz AC supply including all connected civil works with the recommendation of OEM and EIC all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Civil works required for erection of lift pit repair works, replastering and water proofing, RCC Base repair works to be carried out by the contractor to ensure arresting of ground water as per OEM specifications/ site requirement all as directed and as per directions of GE/EIC. Necessary electrical cables and communication cables and panels shall be provided by the contractor as per site requirement and OEM recommendations and directions of EIC. The rate for the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 2. Necessary concrete cutting of existing walls/beams to erect /open the elevator door and std earthing of lift etc shall be catered in the scope of work . Any damage to the walls shall be repaired by the contractor to match with the existing surface all as speciied by the EIC. The rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 3. The load, design and GAD of the elevator and structure,shall be submitted by the contractor duly recommended and vetted by the OEM. 4. Any special items/accessories left out in the contract for successful completion of the work shall be provided by the contractor as per site requirement and the cost for the same deemed to be included in the unit cost. The tenderer should visit the site to check the feasibility and alteration of civil wks and electrical works required at site before bidding the tender.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with and including galvanised earth strip of size 32 x 6mm (Upto length of 7.5Mtr strip including) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia complete all as specifed and directed.

Supply and fixing and connecting up Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe as directed/specified for loop earthing etc as required of galvanised iron strip of size 32 x6 mm complete all as specified and directed.Note; This item shall be measured for the quantity used at site after the length of strip 7.5 Mtr

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of wall surface by mechanical jet spray /grinder and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper paint over a coat of primer using mordern tools complete all as specified.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment of ceiling surface by mechanical jet spray /grinder and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper paint over a coat of primer using mordern tools complete all as specified.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortor bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in flooring including finishing cement concrete even & fix surface without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

S & F Coloured Non-Skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 10 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 complete all as specified.

M & L for preparation and applying of one coat of synthetic enamel painting on old steel surface of any description, not otherwise described, over 10cm width or girth all as specified and directed

Taking down shutters with frames of size exc 1.5 Sqm but n.exc 4 Sqm each with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frame) and removing from site complete as directed.

S&F powder coated(minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium frames for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebate including joining cleat for fixing etc complete all as specified

S&F powder coated( minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium door shutters, aluminium section weighing 0.55kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, handles 2 Nos in each door, hinges(150mm size-3 nos), anodised aluminium snap beading, screws etc. complete all as specified

S&F Anodised aluminium grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern with approvbed standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/stainless steel screws @200 mm c/c , including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium stanndard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement and direction of Engr in charge .

S&F Powder coated aluminium window and ventilator shutters, side hung type without sash bars, aluminium sections weighing 0.55 kg/m including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber packing, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws, anodised aluminium fittings such as peg stays 150mm long (1 no.) hinge type B-21 100mm long (2 no.) suitable handle (1 no.) complete all as specified

M&L Veneered decorative plywood 9mm thick, grade 1 (with BWR resin) with decorative face veneers on both faces; fixed with screws to timber frame all as specified.

S&F sheet glass, ordinary quality 4 mm thick and glazing with alu bedding/ oil putty in square n.exc 0.5 sqm in each pane complete all as specified.

S&F Aluminium alloy wire cloth,0.45mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with aluminium wire staples complete all as specified.

S&F mortise lock Brass type of size 75mm 4 levers vertical type,complete all as specified

S&F glazed ceramic coloured tiles 300x250x7mm thick or 450/350/7mm thick in dado/vertical surface infront of lift wall including 10mm thick back coat in CM 1:4 etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement with pigment complete all as specified and directed

Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of pwder cating 50 micron) work for doors, window, ventilators and partitions (Fixed portions) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, ie at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ panelling, CP brass/ stainless steel, screws all complete and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item Nos- 22,22.1,23,23.1,24,24.1 :- 1. The comprehensive maintenance shall be done through OEM of the lift 2. The contractor shall enter into an MOU (Memorandum of understanding) with the OEM or their authorised agency for maintenance of the Lift. The above comprehensive AMC certificate shall be provided by the contractor in favour of GE (NS) before commencement of work, after acceptance of CA. 3. The parts shall be genuine and shall be from original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) and shall be as approved by GE. 4. All stainless steel parts such as lift car enclosure, opening doors, jamps, cills, etc shall be thoroughly cleaned to remove rust, stains, etc with suitable solution. The contractor shall also clean and properly maintain machine rooms, machineries and lift well as directed by EIC. The rates quoted for respective items shall be deemed to include for the same. 5. No spare parts and consumables shall be supplied by the department. 6. The rate of maintenance, service and repair including all the material and labour for the satisfactory functioning of the lfits. 7. Duration of maintenance is 12 months for 1 lift 8. Any breakdown/complaints shall be attend and rectify within 6 hrs. If the complaint is not attended and repaired within 24 hrs, penalty of Rs 2000/- per day will be charged. 9. The contractor is responsible to carried out periodical routine check up (Monthly/ Quarterly) through OEM (Once in a month) or as per contract agreement to ensure the serviceability and proper functioning of the lifts in all respect. 10 The contractor is responsible to clean/drain water from lift pit with necessary equipments. The rate for the same is deemed to include in the quoted rate.
