REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMERS, HT CABLE AND CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR NO 1

M & L for Overhauling of up to 100 KVA capacity transformer/Isolation TR, 11 KV / 433 V, by disconnecting LT / HT connections from site of installation, inspection/assessing of the defective/burnt parts, core assembly of transformer in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and cleaning complete for making it carbon free, checking for any loose bushings & making it rectified if found & reconnecting with LT / HT connections, testing and commissioning on load complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item No 1 to 5:- (i) Filtration of transformer oil if required will be measured & paid separately. (ii) Topping up with new transformer oil if required will be measured & paid separately. (iii) Any spare Part & rewinding if found unserviceable will be measured & paid separately and minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, etc. shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.

S&F in repairs 11 KV HT terminal comprising stud, insulator, nut, bolt, washer etc (for three phase) suitable for out door type transformer of capacity up to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 11 KV HT terminal comprising stud, insulator, nut, bolt, washer etc (for three phase) suitable for out door type transformer of capacity 315 to 400 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 11 KV HT terminal comprising stud, insulator, nut, bolt, washer etc (for three phase) suitable for out door type transformer of capacity 500 to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 0.433 KV LT terminal comprising stud, insulator, nut, bolt, washer etc (for three phase & neutral) suitable for transformer of capacity up to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 0.433 KV LT terminal comprising stud, insulator, nut, bolt, washer etc (for three phase & neutral) suitable for transformer of capacity 315 to 400 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs 0.433 KV LT terminal comprising stud, insulator, nut, bolt, washer etc (for three phase) suitable for out door type transformer of capacity 500 to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & topping up of transformer oil up to required level for transformer / PT's / stabilizers / HT switches etc of duly filtered with filtration plant to obtain high dielectric strength 50 KV & above all as per IS specification, complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed barrels with test certificate.)

Supply and fix in repairs breather with silica gel for transformer of capacity from 63 KVA to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Size of breather shall be provided as per OEM specification.)

Supply and fix in repairs temperature gauge for transformer of capcity up to 160 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs temperature gauge for transformer of capcity up to 200 KVA to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs oil level gauge for transformer of capacity from 63 KVA to 1000 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted surface of transformer of capacity 63 to 100 KVA, including connected accessories complete by cleaning / scraping oil, grease dirt and rust with steel wire brush and emery paper to obtain clean and smooth surface, and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint as per MES colour code, including rewriting of MES No / Sl No complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 17 above but transformer of capacity 160 to 250 KVA.

All as per item No 17 above but transformer of capacity 315 to 1000 KVA.

M & L for rewinding of HV / LV limb of transformer (Oi type/ Dry type)/stabilizer of any capacity taking down from site of installation, inspection/assessing of the defective/burnt parts, core assembly of transformer in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge and then lifting, loading and transportation of unserviceable transformer to the workshop for repair/rewinding and repair to the transformer by dismantling the top coverby dismantling and removing the burnt out copper winding cleaning of limb thoroughly and rewinding the same with super enameled copper winding wire of the same gauge and turn with proper class of insulation impregnated & baking, assembling and testing complete all as specified & as directed . (Note:-(i) Transportation to local/ company workshop is deemed to be in above quotted rate (ii) The transformer shall only be got repaired from one of the authorized firms/agencies of the manufacturer as approved by GE.)

Cutting, trimming and pruning of trees/tree branches/creepers/climbers of all around existing Sub Stn area up to fencing/boundry wall including cleaning the disturbed area beneath and removing the tree branches and debris from site and depositing all as specified and directed. (Note:- (i) Each sub stn will be maintained once in a month each substation will be measued as one unit for payment.)

Supply and spreading 40 mm size graded stone aggregate on ground of sub station, average spreading levelling complete, all as specified and directed. (Note: Measurement shall be carried out for net finished volume of work executed).

Taking out HT underground cable from trenches / pole etc, aluminium conductor of size 95 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out HT underground cable from trenches / pole etc, aluminium conductor of size 120 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Laying / Re-rooting only old taking down serviceable HT underground cable from trenches /pole/ducts etc, aluminium conductor of size 95 sqmm 3 core all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, PVC inner sheathed, armoured with galvanised steel strip, heavy duty, HT underground cable ISI marked with aluminium multistranded conductor 11000 volt grade of size 95 Sqmm 3 core laid in trenches / duct passing through pipe / duct or fixed on pole and connecting complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :-(i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, clamps, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.)

M&L for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm to 120 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm to 120 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm to 120 sqmm including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable jointing kit, complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed. .

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed. .

M&L for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning below and above cable thickness as specified in SSR to under ground cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: for measurement purpose punned thickness of sand will be considered.)

Taking out old PCC cable cover of any type / any size from trenches all as specified and directed.

Laying only serviceable PCC cable cover for HT / LT UG cable of any type complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & laying ISI marked & conforming to IS - 5820 - 1970 unreinforced precast concrete cable cover Class HV ,type-1 flat of size 300 mm X 180 mm X 40 mm in trenches as protection to HT UG cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying in repair GI tubing 80 mm dia bore light grade laid in trenches / floor / fixing on pole / wall for cable protection with necessary fittings etc including taking down old tubing complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Boring under roads / pavement / hard standing without disturbing the top surface by trench less technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including supply & inserting HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia (ISI Marked) suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure for passing through the cables complete all as specified and as directed. (Note : Necessary infrastructure required for boring shall be arranged by the Contractor at his own cost.)

Deployment of manpower and cable fault locator machine duly mounted on vehicle for detection of HT UG cable fault of any size & make by applying upto 15 KV supply to locate the fault. Necessary arrangements required should be provided by the contractor. (Note: Payment under this item shall be measured and made only if any fault is detected)

Dehydration / filtration of transformer oil of transformers, isolation transformer, OCBs, PT's, oil switches, Ring main Tee unit , Stabilizers etc of various capacities installed at different locations by disconnecting plants electrically for recirculation existing transformer oil with trolley mounted filtration plant till dielectric strength not less than 60 KV. Note- Quoted rates shall be deemed to include for following :- (i) Oil shall be tested after filtration and test result will be recorded before & after filtration of oil. (ii) Contractor should make his own arrangement for oil filtration plant including transportation complete. (iii) New Transformer oil for topping up will be measured and paid in relevant item as required (iv) All necessary T&P / testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. No extra payment shall be made to the contractor.

Note for above Srl Item No 1 to 42 :- (i) Work shall be executed by the authorised service mechanic/Electrician of manufacturer,After satisfactorily completion of servicing of HT Transformer/VCB If any fault occurs upto the completion of contract should be attended by concerned rep within stripulated time frame without fail , quoted rates is deemed to be included all such charges.(ii) If any above HT Equipment and connected items become breakdown, the contractor shall loacate the problem/fault at site within 12 hours on intimation by JE/Engineer-In-Charge and ensure that the fault to be rectified within 48 Hours , failing which an amount of Rs 200 /- per hour will be recovered as a penal recovery from any payment due to contractor after expiry of 48 hours.) (iii) Minor consumable items, ie Nuts bolts, Control wires , PVC tapes, Welding Job, cotton waste & cleaning clothes, petroleum jelly, grease , lubricating oil, emery paper , T & P items etc, is to be arranged by contracttor without any extra cost.
