COMPLETION OF INCOMPLETE WORK OF SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD AT SUPPLY DEPOT ASC AT ROORKEE

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by fillig in screened & graded raod metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n. exc 400 Sqm and depth exc 50 mm but n.exc 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63mm to 40mm size) or grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) with lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite stone spread rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing the existing black top surface with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen) (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents paving bitumen (VG-10) viscosity grade by weight of total mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers, and laid with mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note applicable to serial item No 5 :The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design Mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). For the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 5.5% binder by weight of total mix . However the work shall be executed as per approved mix design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus ) in quantity of binder priced at supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer) plus 15 % to cover contractor's overhead & profit.

Demolition of cement concrete (Un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving etc n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above GL) complete all as specified & directed.

M & L PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in mass concrete complete all as specified & directed.

S & F machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size confiriming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 grade laid dry over and including 25 mm thick sand cushoning complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cleaning the road surface from dirt, oil/grease spots and foreign material etc and applying 2 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) of white/yellow colour using Hot Themoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profiles shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator complete all as specified and directed make of paint STP or Equvaliant as approved by GE.

M & L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in kerbs, rounded or chanefered on edges complete all as specified and directed.
