Housekeeping cum horticulture maintenance work of buildings and industrial areas at HWBF Talcher plant premises for the year 2024-25

Providing required men, materials / necessary tools and appliances etc for Cleaning of Toilets and office. Tiles area including sweeping, washing of floors, dado/skirting portion, wash basins, urinal pans, IWC/UWC glazed tiles etc, using cleaning acid, naphthalene balls, washing powder/soap, disinfectant (Phenol) and disposing the dirt etc. in all building toilets including toilet of CISF barrack etc. complete as per schedule and specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Two times in a day cleaning Toilet areas (Rate for two times cleaning)

Providing required men, materials/ necessary tools and appliances etc. for cleaning the buildings of plant area. Sweeping - Daily/periodically (with soft broom including staircases, landings, entrance, pathways, plinth protection and all floor/carpet areas), Collection of dirt, waste papers, cotton waste etc., in building, cleaning of rooms, dustbins and disposing to 1KM from plant site. Moping / washing - twice in a week (using necessary detergents and disinfectants-phenol). Removing of cobwebs - once in 15 days. ( with long Handle cobwed brooms) etc, complete as per schedule, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing required men, materials / necessary tools and appliances etc. for cleaning the industrial areas. Sweeping and mopping / washing / water jetting including de-oiling and de-greasing with suitable chemical agents, for the floor area, platforms/equipment foundations etc. collection of waste papers, used waste cotton etc, and disposing the same in to 1 KM from plant site, complete periodically, as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. (by following all safety precautions and personal protective equipments for industrial areas.)

Providing required men, materials / necessary tools and appliances etc. for sweeping open areas, roads, building sorroundings, industrial units, entrances, path ways, with soft broom, including collection of dirt, waste papers, cotton waste, etc., in and around the buildings and disposing the same at a distance of 1km (location shown by the Engineer in charge) etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing cycle - rickshaw with mounted trolly, providing required men and materials for disposal of garbage, scrap materials, debris rubbish and other waste materials etc, from the area dust bins and designated waste depositing points at various locations of plant site including collection, loading unloading and disposal of the same inside the plant site at designated disposal ground and burning the same under controlled fire condition( if necessary) etc, complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supply and applying a mixture of bleaching powder & lime in the proportion 1:2, including mixing transportation, spreading around the building / dust bins etc. Complete as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Note:Each operation minimum 25kg bleaching powder and 50 kg lime to be supplied by contractor)

Providing required men, necessary tools and tackles for Grass Cutting of plant road side berms, open areas, including disposal of rubbish, grass upto a lead of 1 km complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.(Grass cutting periodicity to be once in a month)

Providing required men, material & tools for cleaning of storm water drains, alge mats, unwanted vegetation, stones and other floating materials with all lifts and leads, including removing the silt under culverts / drain outlets in the compound wall, removal of plants, shurbs from the drains including removal of deposits on the drain wall etc. for in side the industrial units removal of RCC slabs / MS grills and removal of silt deposited in the drains and disposal of the same with in 1km and re-fix the removed slabs / grills etc. all complete disposing the removed materials with in 1Km lead as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Contractor should ensure free and unobstructed flow of storm water for a period of Three months from the date of cleaning of the drains).

a) Drain width varying from 0.23 to1.20mtrs.

b) Drain width varying 0.23 to 0.60met (inside the Industrial units)

Providing required men, materials / necessary tools and appliances etc for sweeping the terraces of public/office buildings, collection of dirts, waste papers, dry leaves, cotton waste, etc. removal of unwanted saplings, if any from terrace & parapet wall and disposing to the nearest dustbin (out side of the building ) as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing required men, materials / necessary tools and appliances etc. for all the floor cleaning and maintain hygine at canteen area including dining hall, wash room, kitchen, pantry room, toilet at canteen etc and other assistance as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge.( atleast one semi skilled worker to be deployed for this item.)

Providing required men, materials / necessary tools and appliances etc for all the housekeeping works carried out at conference hall, video conferencing room, GM/DGM office area, executive lobby area etc and other assistance as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge. ( atleast one semi skilled worker to be deployed for this item.)

All the data entry work related to office and over all supervision of the job covered in this schedule, including other works like progress checks/ assistance in taking measurements for bills, inventory record and coordination as per the direction and to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. ( atleast one High skilled worker to be deployed for this item.)

Providing all labour tools, tackles for Maintenance of Lawns by watering, weeding at frequent intervals, to make it weed free lawn, hoeing and rolling, application of fertilizers, manures & pesticides, Weeding out shall have to be carried at least once in a month including mowing of lawn once in a month in order to achieve uniform texture always. The lawn must remain weed free throughout the month as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing all labour tools, tackles, for Maintenance of existing seasonal flower beds by hoeing, weeding, watering, applying good soil, fertilizer, manure, pesticide etc. as & when required, gap filing with seedling,removing the plants after a season is over and planting new plants for the coming season as per requirement , specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supplying and seeding of seasonal flower plant by hoeing, weeding, watering, applying good soil, fertilizer, manure, pesticide etc. as & when required as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.( Note: 600nos. of seasonal flower to be supplied in each season . Failing supply of plants ,amount of Rs. 3000/ per season to be recovered from contractor.)

Maintenance of plants planted in Cement Concrete/ Earthen Pots by watering, weeding, pruning/trimming, hoeing, manuring, application of fertilisers/pesticides, growth regulants etc as per requirement specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supplying,stacking & applying of good quality of soil suitable for gardening work including cost of transportation as per direction of Engineer-in-charge .

Supply,stacking & applying of good quality cowdung manure suitable for horticultural use free from unserviceable materials like stones, pebbles, broken glass & other un wanted materials including cost of transportation as per direction of Engineer-in-charge .

Painting of Earthen pots/Cement pots with Weather coat paint by supplying paint and tools as per requirement ,specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.(Note: Paint to be supplied by Contractor)

Painting of brick edge lining with weather coat paint by supplying paint and tools as per requirement, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.(Note: Paint to be supplied by Contractor)

Cutting of Deodar tree tops above 5M level from average ground level including disposal of the cuttings etc. on the same day as per requirement, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying boro mixture on the trunks of the permanent trees girth varying from 0.3 to1.50 met including trimming / cutting of the branches in proper level up to the height of 1.80 met from average ground level and disposal of the cutting, as per requirement, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.the branches in proper level up to the height of 1.80 met from average ground level and disposal of the cutting, as per requirement, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

Providing all labour tools, tackles, for Maintenance of Existing Shrubs and hedges including trimming ,application of fertilizers, manures, pesticides and disposal of rubbish, grass at a distance of 2KM etc., watering in dry period,Shaping to required design, spot weeding & making rings around the root zone, pruning to dead & diseased wings if required. All the activities are to be performed during every month as per requirements , specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. ( Atleast one semi-skilled worker to be deployed on per working day basis.)

Carried out all horticultural works in plant site including but not limited to job planning / allocation, continuous supervision, quality and progress checks / reporting and coordination as per the direction and to the satisfaction of Engineer in Charge. ( atleast one skilled worker to be deployed on per working day basis.)

Operation of potable water supply system, main water tank and pump house, filling individual over head tank, water supply to plant site from main water tank etc. for an uninterrupted water supply as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.( atleast one skilled worker to be deployed on per working day basis.)

Maintaining lawns and trees inside plant premises and other miscellaneous manual work like cleaning, trimming, and developing new lawn portion at plant premisese. ( atleast one unskilled worker to be deployed as and when required basis.)

Supply of following items for horticulture maintenance jobs and maintaining inventory in civil plant office as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
