Excavation in soil in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required setting out to the required line grades, side slopes trimming bottom and level as shown on the drawings as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to technical specifications clause 1603.1 & 1603.2 sorting out useful/ unuseful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lift and transportation of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, embankments for grades improvements and levelling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load, animal load or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means ( if required). Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including all leads and lift of materials or as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated Suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner filling of unevenness blind edge and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:6:12 (one cement: six sand: twelve graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated mix 1:5:10 (one cement: five sand: ten graded, crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size for plain /reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawings and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete Grade-(M-10) using crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimetre) nominal size) in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203. and curing complete including the cost of form work and carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone masonry in cement mortar for sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 702,704,1202 & 1206 Coursed rubble masonry (2nd (second) sort) in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement : four sand) curing complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Stone masonry in cement mortar for sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 702,704,1202 & 1206 Random rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6 (one cement : six sand) curing complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry for retaining walls, breast walls, revetment walls and parapets etc for sub structure and super structure complete as per Drawing and technical specifications clauses 704.6 & 1604 complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1206.3 with Granular material complete within all leads, lifts carriage of material and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine hundred millimetre) pipe NP3 as per design for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications for Rural roads clause 1101 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying flooring with rubble stone laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement: three sand) laid over cement concrete bedding (cement concrete bedding to be measured and paid for seperately) curing complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1303 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil) completed as per HP.PWD. specifications complete including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etcetra with earth or quarry soil etcetera and rerolling the sub grade complete as per HPPWD Specifications complete including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of sub-grade and earthen shoulder with approved material obtained from borrow pits, transporting to site, spreading, grading to require slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300.2 as per technical specifications clause 303.1 complete including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with tractor mount grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Techanical Specifications Clause 401 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates by mechanical means of 63mm to 45mm (sixty three millimetre to forty five millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fillup the interstics of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-2 (two) as per Technical Specification clause 405 complete including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates by mechanical means of 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three millimetre to twenty two point four millimetre) sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) in stages to proper grade and camber applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fillup the interstics of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-3 (three) as per Technical Specification clause 405 complete within all leads, lifts, carriage of material and other incidentals charges complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 to 1.00 kg/sqm ( Zero point seven zero to one kilogramme per square metre) using mechanical means as per Technical specification Cluase 502 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30kg/sqm (zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogramme per square metre) on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling by mechanical means with bitumen (VG-10) @ 1.46 kg/sqm (at the rate of one point four six kilogram per square metre) of open graded premix carpet of 20mm (twenty millimetre) thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm (thirteen point two millimetre to five point six millimetre) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN (eighty-hundred kilo newton) static roller capacity, finished to requried level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type-B as per Technical Sepcification Clause 506 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat Type-B by mechanical means sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the sepcified levels, grade and crossfall using Bitumen (VG-10) @ 0.68kg/sqm. (as the rate of zero point six eight kilogram per square metre) as per Technical Specificaiton Clause 508 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of V-Shape drain with mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete M-10 (ten) grade nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand : six graded, crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimeter) nominal size) with thickness of concrete as 10cm (ten centimeter) and size of drain 45X25cm (forty five into twenty five centimeter) and curing complete including cost of form work consisting as per standard drawing and HP.PWD. specifications clause 1606.1 including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
