Glass beading & Dynamic balancing

Removal of all rotary components like turbine, impeller, thrust collar, impeller adjustment washer, locknut, lock washer and impeller drive washer by using special jacking tools. Cleaning of all rotary components by glass beading (blasting). Checking trueness & diameter of turbine shaft at various locations, checking of turbine wheel diameters & compressor wheel diameter, Dynamic Balancing of turbine shaft individually and Dynamic balancing of complete rotor assembly of turbocharger (within 0.1 gm), final assembly of all components of Turbocharger rotor assembly. The job includes dressing/grinding of turbine blades as per requirement or as per direction of EIC.

Replacement / Reparing of turbine blades

Repairing of TC by removing all 134 tab locks, 67 turbine blades & lacing wires (long & short) from turbine disc, cleaning of locking areas, fitting back all blades, aligning the blades, fitting of new tab locks & lacing wires (supplied by IOCL) and tightening of all tab locksas per requirement or as per direction of EIC.

Glass beading & cleaning of various components of TC

Pre cleaning of following components of TC and glass bead blasting cleaning of the same as per requirement or as directed by EIC.

(i) Stationary Nozzle ( Nozzle Ring)

(ii) Diffuser Ring/Cone

(iii) Shroud Ring / Cover ring

(iv) Compressor air inlet Wall Insert

DP Test

Dye Penetration test to be done as per EIC's instruction to detect cracks / defects from surface. DP test kit of EIC approved make/model to be used as per manufacturer’s recommendations . Photos to be attached with reports. As per applicable ASME/ATSM Standard

MPI Test

Magnetic Particle indentation test to be done as per EIC's instruction. Photos to be attached with reports.As per SE709 ,ASME

MPI of Turbine Wheel & Shaft

UT Test

Ultrasonic test for shaft and turbine wheel for internal crack detection, as per applicable ASME standard

Micro Hardness test for compressor wheel for evaluation of material strength. AS per ASTM E92 ASTM E384 ASTM E1077 ASTM B578 ASME Sect. IX MIL Specifications ISO 6507 / ISO 9015

Fluorescent penetration Test ,To be carried out as per SE165 of ASME ,test to be done as per EIC's instruction. Photos to be attached with reports.

Transoprtation Charges

To & fro transportation charges from IOCL WRPL station to party's works & back. Charges includes transit insurance, loading & unloding of T/c assembly at party's works, driver expenditure, total 03 days Night stay of utility vehicle & others etc.
