APPROACH ROAD

2.3.1.A : Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness In area of light jungle - By Manual Means

3.13.1.A : Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, backfilling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work.Ordinary soil - Manual Means - (Depth upto 3 M)

12.4 : Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days. Make of cement: Malabar cement only as per Govt. direction and if not available use Ultratech, ACC, Dalmia, Ramco or eq in the order of preference.

12.8.1.C.1 : Plain/Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open Foundation complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications RCC Grade M20 - Using Concrete Mixer. Assessment of strength of concrete by cube test in Govt. Lab.

12.40 : Supply, Fitting and Placing un- coated HYSD bar Reinforcement in Foundation complete as per Drawing and Technical Specifications. Make: Tata,Vaishak, SAIL, JSW or eq primary make in the order of preference.

ROAD FILLING

16.3.9 : Supplying and stacking at site.Good earth including spreading and consolidation etc. complete as per direction of site Engineer-in-charge. (If stacking not possible, quantity by level calculation).

50.2.26.1 : Filling with contractor own earth (excluding rock) in open areas in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m as per direction of site Engineer-in-charge. (Quantity by level calculation).

16.1 : Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres. (For area other than item no.2.01 and 2.02).

Sub surface and surface course

4.1.B.1 : Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-V - For sub base cum drainage layer - Mix in Place Method. (Quantity by level calculation and reporting to CTE as per norms).

5.1.a : Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion ( SS) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 - 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means.

5.2.a : Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

5.3.1.b : Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder (VG - 30), transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction.Grading - I ( 40 mm nonimal size). (Quantity by level calculation and reporting to CTE as per norms).

5.10.2.a : Providing and laying of premix sand seal coat with HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/ hours using crushed stone chipping 6.7 mm size and bitumen (VG-30) 6.8 kg per 10 sqm

Note :1 All materials, Items, Equipment shall be best branded items with IS and approved by client/KEL

2:Rate should be inclusive of Transportation, delivery and installation cost for all items

3.Rate should be exclusive of GST.

4.Work should be executed as per DSR/PWD specification and direction of Engineer at site.
