Earth Work in Excavation - Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lifts, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil within a lead of 50 m, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Including excavation for column pits, trenches for wall foundations and provision for weep holes at base level as per instruction)

Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8) Bed Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering —with 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 coarse sand (Zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size), including mixing, placing, compacting and curing complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Random Rubble Masonry in Foundation and Plinth Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), including raking of joints, curing, scaffolding, and providing weep holes at 1.0 m c/c using 100 mm dia PVC pipes laid with slope towards drainage side, all complete as per drawing and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Coursed Rubble Masonry in Superstructure Coursed rubble masonry with hard stone (first sort) in superstructure above plinth level and up to floor five level, with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), including raking of joints, curing, scaffolding, finishing of joints, and providing vertical expansion joints at intervals as per IS:3414 filled with bitumen-impregnated fibre board and sealed with approved sealant, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:2:4) up to Plinth Level Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering — all work with 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand (Zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size), including RCC in coping, bed blocks, column foundations and other elements as per drawing, compacted with mechanical vibrators, finished smooth with neat cement slurry and cured, complete.

Reinforcement Steel Providing, cutting, bending, binding and placing in position steel reinforcement bars for RCC columns, footings, coping and stirrups with 10% wastage, including binding wire, spacers, cover blocks, chairs etc., complete as per structural drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Structural Steel (Angle Sections / Bracings) Erection and fabrication of available angle sections at site including cutting, welding, hoisting, painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint, and fixing new wherever required, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Concertina Wire / Barbed Wire Fencing Providing and fixing concertina coil (RBT) fencing above boundary wall including fabrication and fixing of supports, necessary labour charges, materials, scaffolding and finishing complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced Cement Concrete (1:2:4) in Walls / Copings / Columns Providing and laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, copings, anchor blocks etc. up to floor five level, excluding centering/shuttering and finishing, with 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm), including provision for coping over wall and expansion joints as shown in drawing, complete.
