CLEANING OF OVERHEAD WATER TANKS AND CONNECTED REPAIR / REPLACEMENT WORKS AT AF-I UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR NO.2

Dismantling water tanks of capacity exc 250 but n.exc 500 ltrs complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling water tanks of capacity exc 500 but n.exc 1000 ltrs complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 500 litres capacity, rotational moulded, polythene water storage tank (Cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed on roof in position, including all fitting such as connection pieces with 25mm dia GI nipple for inlet, outlet, washout and overflow etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 1000 litres capacity, rotational moulded, polythene water storage tank (Cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed on roof in position, including all fitting such as connection pieces with 25mm dia GI nipple for inlet, outlet, washout and overflow etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs float valves of size 25mm dia high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule with all accessories and complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs float valves of size 20mm dia high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule with all accessories and complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs water tank covers for 500/1000 ltrs capacity tank complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in old or new and cleaning of HDPE service water tank of capacity exc 250 litre & up to 500 litre and connected circulating pipes at any position by removing sludge, mud, moss, moulds, efflorescent salts, oil spots etc or any other foreign material from the bottom, cover and internal surfaces by scraping using wire brush, draining out the water from the tank and washing internally with water & bleaching powder (0.10 Kg of bleaching powder will be mix in 1 litre water) and again draining out the water from the tank and writing the date of cleaning with white synthetic enamel paint on black background with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repair nipple suitable for HDPE water tank (Minimum weight of 25mm- 65gms) inlet /outlet suitable for 25 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 25 mm stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 20 mm stop valves, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel water tubing and connection 20mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel water tubing and connection 25mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 25mm tubes, 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 20mm tubes, 'medium grade' galvanised, with all fitting and fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying 25mm outer dia of CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls / ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying 20mm outer dia of CPVC pipes SDR 11 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls / ceiling or laying in floors complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repairs to bib taps / pillar taps / stop cock / angle valves / concealed stop cock / wall mixer / basin mixer of any description for stopping leakage of water by replacement of washer of any description complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of air lock, blockage in water pipes / bib taps / stop valve / pillar tap / angle cock all as required and as directed to ensure proper flow of water complete all as specified and directed.

Note : (i) For item to be replaced under repair (day to day complaint) contactors trade man should report to complaint cell daily and take complaint from concren JE and after attending complaint he should give feedback and return the complaint slip to concern JE in the evening at 17.30 Hrs on same day. (ii) B/R complaint to be attend within 24 Hrs from the receiving of complaint, other wise panalty of Rs.500 per complaint per day will be imposed on contractor. In this regard decision of EIC and GE will full, final and binding to contractor. (iii) Being a maintenance contract site will be handover to contractor as per complaint received from user and as per site requirement. (iv) Rates for above shall be inclusive of rates quoted by contractor against BoQ/Sch 'A'. No extra payment in this regards be made to the contractor.
