DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.50m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In- Charge.

Surface excavation n exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5m deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Same as item no 1 but depth exc 1.50m but not exc 3.00 m

M &L PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stone masonry walling of random rubble uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in CM 1:4

M & L for providing precast cement concrete bonders (for stone walling) type B1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, set in cm 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing with maximum depression on face form straight edge held against the surface n.exc 40mm in lime or sand stone dressing to face stone and dressing of face beds and joints of random rubble walling complete all as specified and directed.

Raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in CM 1:3

M&L precast cement concrete Block Masonary with solid blocks type C1 1:3:6 20mm graded stone aggregate exc 10 cm in width, 25 cm in depth, 15cm in height and setting in mortar 1:6 .

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick/ concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and fair. Complete all as specified and directed.

M & L PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping including weathering, throating and necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick th in Honey comb wall, brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M &L TMT bar 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips

M&L PCC D 2, 1:4:8 75 mm th (40mm graded aggregate) in floor sub base

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick,set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors incl 15 mm thick screed be in CM 1:6,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In- Charge.

M&L for 40 mm thick Cement concrete flooring type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) finished even and smooth without using extra cement.Complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick on fair faces of brick work in CM 1:3 mixed with liquid water proofing compound@ 200 ml per bag of cementor concrete surfaces. Complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, incl spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm (after the pipes have been laid and tested) in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In- Charge.

Removing excavated material exceeding 250M but not exc 500m and depositing where directed. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In- Charge.

S&F 20 mm bore tubes medium grade galvanised with all fittings and fixed to walls, ceilings or laid in floors, complete complete all as specified and directed

S&F 100 mm bore tubes medium grade galvanised with all fittings and fixed to walls, ceilings or laid in floors, complete complete all as specified and directed

S&F Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe bore dia 20 mm and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out any type of soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in posts filling ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F mild steel angles, tees, flats, C section, MS square bars, MS Tubes etc as in steel gates, steel posts and struts in fencing, grills including embedding in concrete and screwing etc. including cut to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc including all necessary drilling, bolting, welding or riveting and similar work conforming to FE-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L preparation of new surface of any description and applying two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only Chain link MS Galvanised fencing any size or type complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Fixing only Chain link fencing including line wires,any mesh,size and type to any type of standard, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge
