Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thick above or below ground level all as directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing(soft/loose soil) n exc 15 cm deep all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Excavating over areas,for each additional 1.5m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 m and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.(Note:(a) Payment under this item shall not be allowed where no lift beyond 1.5 m is involved, such as excavation in sloping ground where the excavation is accessible from one side. (b) Payment under this item is applicable for the quantity in the respective stage of excavation, and not to the total quantity of excavation from the commencing level. (c) Payment under this item shall include for dressing/trimming sides and levelling/grading and ramming of bottoms of excavation. (d) The depth for any particular length of an excavation for the purpose of lift shall be the average depth at two ends).

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning,filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm,in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed.(Note:-The items shall not be allowed if posts with pointed ends are directed to be driven into the ground).

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling watering and ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm all as directed.

Removing of surplus soil not exceeding 50 m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point all as directed.

Material and labour for sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for hard core of gauge n.exc. 63 mm with broken bricks, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete, all as specified and as directed.(Note:-Measurements for items shall be taken after consolidation).

M & L for broken bricks as in loose filling with aggregates of gauge 80 to 150 mm in soakage pits, soakage wells complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for hard core of gauge n.exc. 63 mm with broken stone or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete, all as specified and as directed.(Note:-Measurements for items shall be taken after consolidation).

Material and labour for Reinforced cement concrete M-25 (20mm graded crushed aggregates) (design mix)in RCC Band to water tank etc. complete, all as specified and as directed.(Note:-(a) For floor finishing, etc., shall be measured and paid separately). (b) Concrete surrounds to rolled steel joists or beams, steel stanchions, etc., shall be paid as reinforced concrete.The structural steel work shall be measured and paid separately and its volume shall not be deducted from the volume of the concrete in which it is embedded. However, where boxed stanchions, etc. are encased in concrete, the volume of boxed up cavity shall be deducted.(c) Any wire netting in wrapping to the steel work shall be measured and paid separately ).

Material and labour for Reinforced cement concrete M-25 (20mm graded crushed aggregates) (design mix)in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts complete, all as specified and as directed.(Note:-(a) For floor finishing, etc., shall be measured and paid separately). (b) Concrete surrounds to rolled steel joists or beams, steel stanchions, etc., shall be paid as reinforced concrete.The structural steel work shall be measured and paid separately and its volume shall not be deducted from the volume of the concrete in which it is embedded. However, where boxed stanchions, etc. are encased in concrete, the volume of boxed up cavity shall be deducted.(c) Any wire netting in wrapping to the steel work shall be measured and paid separately ).

Material and labour for Providing precast Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate Set in cement mortar 1:4 as in window or door cills, lintels,bressumers, steps,quoin blocks (for use with masonry), string courses, copings.kneelers, apex stones,pier caps,columns, posts,boundary pillars,bed plates, pintle blocks, anchorage blocks, bonders (for stone wallin).corbels, brackets,etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces,including chamfers,weatherings,throating etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Providing precast Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate Set in cement mortar 1:4 as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas,water troughs,mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for extra for forming fair finished to drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms,moulds,mitred/stopped ends etc complete all as specified. (Note:- The unit rates include Add or deduct for each 25 mm girth or part thereof over or under 30cm for forming fair finished drain or channel as per site requirement).

Material and labour for brick work with locally available sub class ‘B’, old size, best quality bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar ( 1:6) all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Brickwork with sub class ‘B’ bricks in one brick thick honey comb walling, built in cement mortar (1:3) all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with fly ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar ( 1:6) all as specified and directed.(Note:-(a) Fly ash bricks shall be burnt clay flyash building bricks as per IS- 13757. (b) The unit rate for work curved or polygonal on plan include for all extra cutting and extra waste in the body of the work. It shall be measured as mean length of wall. (c) Centering to arches, etc. shall be measured and paid seperately. (d) Sinking of steining,well curbs, tie-rods, etc. shall be measured and paid separately . (b) The unit rate for work curved or polygonal on plan include for all extra cutting and extra waste in the body of the work. It shall be measured as mean length of wall. (c) Centering to arches, etc. shall be measured and paid seperately. (d) Sinking of steining,well curbs, tie-rods, etc. shall be measured and paid separately .
