Inspection of Elastomeric bearings - horizontal and vertical in metro viaduct in pier caps, cleaning of area around the bearings, taking photographs using digital camera, recording and preparation of detailed reports as per the Indian standards and the contract conditions including all labours, mem, machineries, equipments and consumable necessary for carrying out the work and as per the instructions of engineer-in-charge and as described in the contract. The work is required to be carried out using machanized man lifter i.e MEWP (Mobile elevated working platform). Note: Metro viaduct girders are placed 6 meters to 20meters above the road level

Checking of camber of viaduct PSC girders using Total station (Laser operated), the camber should be measured at 0 point, 0.25L, 0.5L, 0.75L and L measured from the soffit of the respective spans by establishing temporary bench mark including proper recording of the measurement in registers and in digital format as per the standard formats in IS codes, IRBM and preparation of detailed spanwise reports.

Checking of verticality of metro piers using Total station (Laser operated), the verticality to be checked with respect to the permanent marker points provided at the bottom of the pier at crash barrier level, mid height of the pier and the top of the pier at the junction of pier cap etc. Established temporary bench mark shall be referred for the verticality check, and the deviation from vericality need to be furnished in absolute values in mm and the percentage of tilt, etc., and detailed pier vise report to be submitted. Verticality need to be verified and furnished both in the longitudinal direction (along the viaduct alignment) and in the transverse direction.

Providing and fixing permanent marking on viaduct structures - 5 nos. of such markings on the soffit/under side of each girder in the span and 6 nos. on the respective pier, etc. at stipulated location as instructed by Engineer-in-charge, to fecilitate the measurement and recording of the verticality of the pier and the camber of the girders etc. The pernament marking on the piers/girder soffit or bottom side, need to be made by driving and fixing steel rods/nail/bolt with washer by drilling suitable hole to a depth up to 40 to 50mm, and fixing it firmly with suitable epoxy based chemical anchoring material etc., with approval of Engineer-in-charge, and providing retro-reflecticve tape around the nail/bolt on the surface of strucrure for easy identification and paint marking with reflective paint to indicate the reference mark distinctly, etc. complete.
